The Kensington is a remarkable senior living community located in the heart of beautiful downtown Sierra Madre. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home.

Their dedication to providing excellent care for residents is truly unmatched. Marjorie has always been incredible and does things above and beyond, April’s kindness shines through in everything she does, and Danielle is such a wonderful addition to their amazing team.
Their events are second to none, bringing joy and connection to everyone involved.

Huge thanks to The Kensington for hosting such a fantastic business mixer in collaboration with The Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the new hair studio! The evening was beautifully put together, with delicious finger foods, decadent desserts, and live music that set the perfect mood.
Despite the rain, we had a wonderful turnout, and it was great to see the community come together in such a warm and welcoming setting. The Kensington truly went above and beyond to make the event special. Looking forward to more gatherings like this.

We can't thank the amazing staff at The Kensington enough for creating a memorable celebration for our Dad's 95th birthday! They were ready, willing and able to accommodate our family, with a table set in advance for our dad and family of 12, ranging in age from 10 months to 95! With such a wide variety of ages and menu preferences, we were simply overwhelmed by the special treatment dad and his family received from the Kensington, and we are grateful for their willingness to make us and him feel very special on his birthday - Thank you!

I came to work for Kensington through an agency on January 12, 2025 due to short of staff. I must say I have worked at over 200 facilities and have NEVER seen the affection and respect for the residents that was displayed at Kensington. These characteristics can not be taught through orientations the staff must bring these qualities with them -which let me know the staff is handpicked. I hate to admit I was shocked since healthcare should be gratitude when serving- unfortunately that’s not always the case. I personally witnessed each staff member -which was many -engage with the residents as if the resident was their own family member. From the beginning to end. LVN Erica rushed in the door like a super hero ready to attend to her patients. I saw her lock the med cart with one foot and run downstairs to an emergency call with the other like a speed of lightning. The caregivers and kitchen staff were all in unison of humbling service. They were all amazing, Kimberly, Maria, John, Anna. I was even able to see the night shift come in as I clocked out all show the exact same care to the residents. It was awesome to see this quality of care it made me evaluate myself and make sure I too am always in touch with my role as a caregiver. Thank you Kensington for hands down displaying top tier- true and sincere care to the community.

The Kensington has that wow factor. From the moment you enter, you are welcomed and feel the ambiance of warmth and class. It has the essence of the Fairmont hotel, elegant and inviting. The staff is always friendly, and the food is delicious. The chef and his staff know their craft and prepare foods that are not only nutritious but aesthetically pleasing for the eyes. They have live music regularly and ongoing activities for residents and guests, as well as different levels of care for your loved one, should their needs change. I've visited numerous times and it's one of the top communities in the area. They give tours so you can see for yourself just how lovely it is! I recently took my 95-year-old mother on a tour of The Kensington in Sierra Madre. What a beautiful facility! We were served a delicious lunch in the dining room and the staff was incredibly helpful, informed and attentive. When my mom is ready, we can be assured that she will be well taken-care of! Thank you for an excellent visit!
