I love this place. I have been a member for 20 years. I use the gym almost every day, the tennis courts (weather permitting), and have conducted a few large gatherings/parties.

The people make any business, this one is no different.
* Michael the GM is one of a kind.
* Davis - My gosh, how terrific is he. I LOVE hearing him on the courts firing up the kids or just being him!
* Kyle - Excellent. I have had fun times playing tennis w/ him.
* Natalie - Wow, wow. She helped me arrange one of the best, most meaningful suprise birthdays parties at the pool area. She is terrific.

We got married at Wakefield and had such a great experience!!! Courtney was so helpful throughout the planning process. We also had so many compliments on the food. The steak was my favorite but everything was delicious from the hors d'oeurves to the main course!! I recommend Wakefield to everyone!

I used this venue for my wedding this past weekend and I was in awe at the level of genuine kindness and effort shown by all the staff especially Courtney. It could not have been a more perfect venue to host our family and friends. Also, the food is an absolute 10/10!!! It blew all the guests away. Could not recommend enough.

Our daughter’s wedding was held at The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation in June and it was absolutely perfect! Courtney Tatum and her team did an outstanding job with the reception. The room was beautifully decorated, the food was incredible and the bartenders were fun and engaging. Courtney was a joy to work with and went out of her way to make sure the day was perfect and everything stayed on schedule. I highly recommend Courtney, her team and The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation for any special event.

My husband and I got married here this past December and it truly was the most magical day! I had the best experience with Courtney as our wedding coordinator and she truly made our wedding day. From the planning before, responding to any questions or concerns I had, to the day of the wedding, making sure the day ran so smoothly, Courtney went above and beyond to make our experience the absolute best. The week before the wedding Courtney made herself available to meet all our requests and thought about more details than I could have even begin to think about. I trusted Courtney to make the venue so beautiful and she really exceeded my expectations. The venue itself was the most beautiful location. The food was outstanding, and the room itself was a perfect background for a wedding. I would recommend this venue to anyone everytime! And cannot thank Wakefield country club, and Courtney, enough!!

We got married at Wakefield and have been celebrating our wedding anniversary there for 10 years. It never disappoints and the food and staff are amazing. We LOVE the crab dip (not pictured because my husband jumped right in and started eating away) and the steaks are always delicious as well as dessert.

We had a fabulous experience holding our wedding at The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation. We especially appreciated Courtney Tatum, the director of catering and events, who is phenomenal to work with! She helped us plan our wedding in less than six weeks, and every detail was flawless! She found for us and coordinated a great florist, 2 amazing musical groups (a string duet and flamenco band), and even recommended a great photography. She was so sweet, responsive and helpful, and she knows her stuff! We were so grateful for her experience, and felt like she truly cared about our happiness and satisfaction with all of the details of the day. The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation is very lucky to have her on staff, and I look forward to planning future events with her!
