I organized a surprise 50th Birthday celebration for my mom at this venue and it turned out so good! Alex was very helpful and answered all my questions, and the process to renting the venue was very simple and quick. The venue itself held our 50 guests comfortably and didn’t feel too crowded. The premium half day deal was such a good price and the amenities and services were very useful. I’m so happy with how everything turned out.

I was looking for a nice space for my wife's 60th birthday party, but all the ballrooms, event spaces, etc. around town were exorbitant. Then I found The Community Shared Space in Carmel. The space itself is perfect for small to medium-sized events, and the price is a quarter of what most places charge. The owner Alex was very responsive to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful event with 60 attendees, and my wife loved it!

First of all, we didn’t even know that this wonderful space existed. It was exactly what we were looking for. We recently rented the Community Shared Space for our daughter’s graduation party, and it was perfect for our occasion. The provided equipment, including chairs, tables, and television, helped us create a beautiful room to celebrate. The space was well-lit, clean, and met all our needs. The television equipment was especially useful for streaming a tribute to our daughter. All in all, it was a wonderful venue, and we highly recommend it to others.

This is a terrific place to host a party, celebration of life or any type of celebration. The space is a nice size, is equipped with microphones, speakers, TV monitors, projector, etc. The employees are friendly and very accommodating. The room feels bright and cheerful and there is plenty of parking and a public bathroom near the room. We utilized the coffee company and the Italian restaurant in the complex for food and drink at our event. It was super convenient that they were in the same complex and they were terrific as well. The only thing I found disappointing was the photos provided with the table layouts all had white tablecloths on them which made the room look more formal. When we arrived, there were no table clothes on our tables. Also, the floor didn't look freshly mopped. These are small criticisms but would have been nice for our event. Overall, great location, plenty of parking, reasonable pricing, and nice event room with all the equipment you'll need to host a great event.

Let's start with the good only because there's little to be said.

The location is ideal, and the venue was cute for our baby shower.

Now the bad. The neighboring businesses don't appear to be fans of this business. We were met with a very rude neighboring store owner the second we arrived. In addition, I was threatened when I attempted to throw trash in a dumpster that I was instructed to use by the owner of this venue.

Speaking of the owner. He was a poor communicator. We had to initiate and inquire about instructions the night before, and only then we were informed we had to purchase event insurance. We had booked the venue several months prior and didn't recall all the specific details of the contract. A reminder leading up to the event would have been beneficial.

We also paid for additional time to set up. What we didn't expect was to clean the floors upon arrival. Sadly, the floor was dirty when we got there. Therefore, we swept the entire venue prior to setup. Furthermore, we were instructed to conduct light cleaning, which we did. However, we were still charged $150 for no legitimate reason.

We had high hopes for this venue, as it really does have potential. Several of our guest wanted to inquire about possible future use, however after being told about our disastrous experience, they had second thoughts.

Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this venue.
