I fully believe that this place is the best in all of Rockingham County. Every single day I see how they make a difference with one person at a time, and groups even. This place and the director, Ms. Jennifer Joyce, has shown me that there are still people in this world who do things simply just because they care. This center is a godsend and it is fully non-profit, and community donated, which makes it all the more better. There’s not a single bad thing I could ever say about them. Even as just a volunteer and witness, they have helped me in more ways than I could have ever imagined. This is a family.

Jennifer loves each & everyone that walks in the doors of the center. Covid was devastating to the center & everyone involved! Jennifer went above & beyond to keep communication lines open & offer what services she could via online. The organization made sure everyone that needed access to a tablet & internet had one or had a resource to stay in touch.
When Covid restrictions were lifted she still extra precautions to keep everyone safe. Not only was she protecting the cancer patients but their families & caregivers!
Jennifer does not just pick & choose who she wanted to attend! The outings that she provides she makes sure everyone is vaccinated before they are around other patients. Covid & Cancer do not mix it could possibly be deadly to the patients as their immune systems are low!!
I not only volunteer when I can but my husband & myself used the resources provided for us as myself a caregiver & my husband a cancer patient!!!
I will personally vouch for how Jennifer is a Godsend to these ladies & gentlemen that may not be able to qualify for outside resources.. I can’t count one person she help but I can count hundreds!!

They only want me to donate but i refused to take the Covid Vaccine and Miss Joyce told me i could not participate in game day or arts and crafts but im receiving papers in the mail to donate to her organization. I was very lonely and it was devastating to not be included anymore also she only does day outtings for the folks in her puctures check it out i also have the message where she told me i couldn't be involved anymore
