I love this place and the employees. I've been going here for years. When my hens were laying well, I donated 2-400 eggs every month or two for their food pantry. Those girls got old and quit laying much, so I started buying/raising a new flock. Several months and several hundred dollars later, when they just started laying eggs consistently, some dirt bags snuck out back and stole all of them!!!! I pray that karma comes right back to them. Anyway, unlike some of the reviews, I've never had any issues with employees here. They've never been rude or anything other than respectful and helpful. I know and understand that people can have bad days, and sometimes they take it out on ppl who don't deserve it. I've just never experienced it here. I really like this place and will continue to support them.

Iv help this place for over 20 years. When it's just started out in the old building the center of town with old wooden floors. I even helped them get software and even repair the computer.

I have probably donated over 3 years of service to them not once did they make me take a religious course.

They have helped me out through the years on and off because a long time ago they had a three-strike program plan that they would only help you three times that's how long ago I was helping them.

And when I need your help they've always been there. Untill September. I have a stomach condition make me allergic to all types of food. Iv went from 42 to 40 and 38. So I'm go to get help at Tesa. I have to take a Financial class. I'm cool with that. But when I get there it's a religious class. No I'm already set in my religion and I refused their service. So I posted on Facebook I needed help. And their store manager publicly attacks me on Facebook and post my information from Tessa on to Facebook my age my address all of it there for the whole world to see this manager needs to be removed immediately

This small thrift store is well organized and clean with friendly staff and a good selection for its size.

Been there many times to donate and staff was so nice. Went this morning & Crystal was not nice...very difficult. I took the donations else where..ie guntersville library. I found out crystal was not the person who was hateful...but she is the manager...we have talked and all has worked out. The difficult person no longer works there. I will be happy to continue to take my donations there.

I regularly buy a lot of stuff from here, and I brought some stuff to donate. I had asked my son to go through the stuff we were donating, and noticed a couple of things they would not want (pieces of paper - not bulky or large things, just a couple of pieces of paper), so upon loading up the buggy, I took out the few papers and went to throw them in the dumpster, and the lady came out and was very nasty. You can't use their dumpster. We packed our stuff up and donated elsewhere. What should I do if I see litter in the parking lot, just leave it? Why not put a garbage can out if you are sensitive about the dumpster? There is really no need to be rude. If I had been throwing a sofa in there, it might have been a bit more understandable, but it was a straw wrapper and a couple of sheets of paper that the staff would have thrown away had I left them in there and donated.

It would be nice if Liberty would return. They had very good merchandise and were very nice. I remember a woman coming in there to donate just as they were clearing out to close, and I mentioned she could still take the stuff to TESA. She kind of wrinkled her nose and said she preferred to donate to Liberty. I now understand what she must have been thinking at that point.

Also, I've noticed they are very rude and paranoid about people stealing from them. Seriously? If someone wanted to steal, I think they'd go after new merchandise at one of the stores in town.

For a charity, TESA isn't very charitable. I will neither shop there nor donate there ever again.

I've been in there quite a few times and I had bought new items with tags. I went in there today and found a nice Chaps shirt for my son. It had the tags on it. When I got it and my other items to the register, the lady ripped the tags off of the shirt. I asked her "Why did you do that?" and she said, 'so people couldn't take items back to the stores and try to get their money back'. I told her I was getting it for a gift for my son and that I didn't want it without the tags. In other words, she was calling me dishonest and a thief. Speaking of thief, my other items were supposed to be $2 and 3$ purchases and a .50 large envelope, but I was charged $12.50 for $5.50 purchases. I was so upset about the shirt that I didn't notice she over charged me for the outfits. Very bad customer service. Noisy. Loud. Overpriced.
