We’ve been using the services at Teen Therapy Center for nearly a year, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care my son has received. Both the nurse practitioner and therapist have been instrumental in his progress.

The therapist, in particular, worked with my son on navigating some challenging issues, including ADHD, anxiety, and the emotional impact of his parents’ recent separation. The approach used was tailored specifically to his needs and resonated with him in a way that has made a real difference. We were with them over 3 years and they refused to provide medical records. Check out my complaint on the BBB with their damning non answer. Please parents stay far away. Extremely unprofessional. Just ask for your medical records and see what happens. This after they make us bill the insurance. Just bad.

Absolutely would not recommend to anyone who is struggling. My child had 2 therapists here over just 3 months. Talk about consistency! Neither of them were terribly helpful in any way. My son had been struggling with autism and anxiety all of his life and the only thing they ever did is tell him to "try to change your thoughts." Due to my son's autism, a lot of the stuff he struggles with cannot be helped. But he can feel a little bit better about himself. But he ended up feeling even worse after therapy because his therapists kept telling him to "change those thoughts" as if that was the cause of his problems(which it clearly wasn't). It ended up making him more confused and irked than towards himself before.

As Head of School at a private school in Los Gatos, we have worked with a number of different counselors at Teen Therapy Center and recommend them regularly. I have been thoroughly impressed by the quality of their clinicians. They are able to provide great one-on-one counseling, group therapy, family therapy, and in-home coaching (which can be hard to find!)
The therapists collaborate effectively with me and our teaching team (when a release of information is provided, of course) to ensure their clients' needs are being met, which can make therapy and school more effective! This is a top-notch therapy group with caring and skilled practitioners.

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about this space. It has helped me overcome trauma that was weighing me down for years. The funniest part, I didn’t even know that trauma was affecting my daily life. The staff was really great and so accommodating!
It is a great space and close to the freeway it was so easy to get here. The staff went out of their way to make me feel valued. Teen Therapy Center wants to help people, and I knew that the moment I walked through the door.

Teen Therapy Center was a good fit for my child. Our therapist, Deborah, worked with my child and gave him the tools needed deal with anxiety attacks. It wonderful to see him blossom and be able to go out with buddies to the movies, concerts, bike rides, or even with his family on a plane.

This place is not good for therapy by any means. I am 20 and was previously in a therapeutic boarding school because I have really struggled with a lot of trauma and was not able to control my emotions properly. After I left, I stayed away from therapy for a while until I convinced myself it could be helpful. I was also recently diagnosed with a chorionic illness so managing my feelings around that was also necessary. However, my symptoms are very unpredictable and can range from paralyzing pain & vision loss to sore muscles and nausea so I physically can’t make it in on some days. I had Megan Curry who informed me that she was not licensed yet which didn’t bother me one bit at first. I went every week until my symptoms started worsening. I was unable to make it to a few appointments so I asked if I could switch to every other week until things get easier for me. She did not like this and became very rude to me saying “I need therapy once a week or I would have to find another therapist” this is what ruined it for me. I tried to continue once a week but she did not seem interested in what I said at all. She then just stopped rescheduling with me. I have never meet a more unprofessional therapist than her. I have tried this place in the past as well and also didn’t get proper treatment. DONT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT THEM TO GET HELP. I now don’t trust therapy anymore and that’s coming from someone who always trusts the process of things.
