I was there in March thru June of 2020, peak of Covid. The staff did it great job Twyla does a great job running a clean program. I was discharged a week before completion because I caused problems for the director Laura and never allowed back in. Give this Medi-Cal funded treatment facility a chance they give their all to help clients.

Had a great experience. Did residential treatment for 60 days. Great staff they treat you with respect and care about your recovery. Co-ed facility, srict, phones are not allowed but totally cool because you are focus on recovery and not on social media. Shout out to Twyla and her staff. Thank you 😊

I went to the Long Beach location. They are strict, but the staff cares. Counselors and case managers prepare you for after residential. As long as you do the work. Take your time in treatment seriously.
If you need a safe place to go after residential your case manager will set you up with recovery bridge housing. Recovery is worth the work. Work it because you're worth it.

This one goes out to a family member.. She suffers from schizophrenia/ addiction and was brought into this facility because she wanted to fight for her son. Obviously an addict will have down falls and will relapse. On her first relapse she left the facility and was not accepted back and considered "A-wall". The supervisor at the facility Santiago was extremely insensitive to my sisters case. Considering the fact that she is diagnosed with schizophrenia and is on meds he stated she's an adult and left on her own. He nor the staff ever considered to call us to inform us and she was out in the street without us knowing. Santiago did not care and showed no empathy. On the other hand, the day after we found my sister she decided she was ok going back. When we met with the staff they were very very nice to my sister and they encouraged her to go back. They understood and also said there selves that they went through the same situation. So to me it was upsetting know Santiago didn't care at all. (The Dam Supervisor) He should get replaced with someone who Actually cares for those in need such as mental health patients, addicts, etc. I've worked apart of a MAT team and noticed that some of these patients will appreciate those who actually care about them. Addicts will relapse give them a chance so they can keep getting encouraged!
Just reconsider your options if the supervisor is being disrespectful.

They took my son to the hospital for medical attention. After a week in the hospital he returned to Trazana Treatment Center to find ALL his things had been stolen by the inmates. This is a jail mentality not a peaceful rehab. I bought my son over a hundred dollars in new clothing and toiletries. When staff was confronted they told him nothing could be done about it.

The 1st time he didnt completete it and he unfortunately had to go back but the staff is nice to him he has no complaints. They are a very courteous sweet staff and everytime I've went to drop off things for my husband ive been treated with respect and care. I definitely recommend this place for treatment and it's covered by medical plus it's a live in facility

I was referred to this treatment center by a colleague. The intake supervisor was extremely rude and condescending. He seems to have a power complex. I was nothing but professional and kind although he was nasty towards me. We arrived at 9:45am and waited for 2 hours for him to decide the client being brought in wasn’t a good fit. He did not provide this information to myself or the client but sent someone to share his decision. The client had a medication that was used to treat another issue and he assumed he knew about because he’s a diabetic. We explained to him that our client was not diabetic. The company basically gave us the run around and wasted our time when they knew it was a no from the beginning. I apologized for errors that were made and said I understood and he told me if I understood it would have happened. Just rude and nasty so if they treat people like this then how are they of service to the substance abuse population that is in need?

I stayed 3 months. Some great counselors and classes, that's the good part. Beyond that it's sort of mayhem. Fights and brawls breaking out, drugs on the facility, people getting into relationships and having sex in the gym, linen closet or bathrooms. But if you want to test your abilities to cope, this is a great place to do it. The staff are stretched thin so its impossible to get phonecalls to find housing and stuff like that, and the chaos affects them too to the point while I was there 4 out of 6 quit! I'm not saying don't do it, I'm saying take a big book to read, get a sponsor before you go in, keep your head down and stay out of the drama.
