I recently had the pleasure of dining at State of Mind Pizzeria and Brewery in Los Altos, CA, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the unique and delicious "Heat and Sweet" pizza to the scrumptious jalapeño poppers, each bite was a delight. This is a very hard place to rate. I had no idea what kind of pizza place this was. My 93-year-old Uncle took me here for dinner. The menu read like a foreign language. Took his word for what was good. I'm still a bit confused about the food. I guess if you like exotic or not traditional pizza this would be a Go To pizza place. Just not what I was expecting. The staff was very helpful and so people friendly. The place was standing room only with a line out the door and around the corner.

Michelin star pizza!

I'm a food snob, but make special exceptions for pizza. It's my last meal. My comfort food. I'll take a crappy cardboard mall food court slice down without complaining.
But man, top tier pizza is special. My dream food. THIS IS TOP TIER. This is some of the finest pizza I've ever had.

Fluffy crust, crispy on the outside. High quality ingredients. Perfect sauce and cheese ratio. Flawless.

Plus, amazing beer selection, old school arcade (though a bit sad to see them go away from coin op), and a great menu... well, I assume the rest of the menu is great. I've had salads (all good), and the jalapeño popper appetizer thing is legit.
OK, back to my pizza now, maybe a second beer.

We’ve been here a few times in the last couple of months. We love the pizza (thin crust, crispy bottom, tender and airy dough) The buffalo wing flavors are all appealing. I have the cola + chipotle sauce a try and it was tasty. We shared the 14” pizza and wings between the 2 of us and had half the pizza reheated for dinner (on a pizza stone in the oven). The blue cheese dressing that accompanied the wings was so good.

Delicious pizzas, although, they are relatively small at 14" diameter. The state of mind slice house is the same store, but has an 18" option. The hamburger is ok though. Reminds you of the fact that this is a pizza place.

Yes, come here and eat amazing pizza and food. Great staff, super friendly and locally owned. Stick around, drink a few beers they have several dozen on tap and play some pinball. My place to go for sports, any night and just to hangout.

State of mind is the best pizza in the area. Hands down, and their fries and ranch are straight gas as well. The only downside of this place is walk-ins on a busy evening might take an hour to be seated. Also, the Grandma Pie is great but they have limited availability and it tends to be unavailable in the later evening times. There are lots of great pizza options for vegetarians here. My favorite is just the plain cheese.

What a nice pizza place!!!

Forgot the name, but we ordered the one with Prosciutto, OMG, it's so delicious, have to mention how they serve the pizza with honey, what a brilliant idea.

Meanwhile, their salad is no joking as well, plus their outdoor dining area, just lovely 😍.
