I am a homeless person and I was here and they was trying to force me to take a cold shower as I had a bladder infection they didn't care they closed the door sent the head staff member in to yell at me belittle me and be belligerent she was very facetious and knowledgeable of the cameras and the microphones that's why she closed the door she was a horrible person but God knows who she is she works for this company but yet Christian ministries has something to do with hiring this person and yet you cannot get a hold of anyone to report and if you did because you're homeless they don't care they think you're all lying and you have nothing to say 3 days is all that I stayed never said anything to anyone my blind daughter and me were thrown out in the cold and people pay money for this place the rich do around there in Albemarle and this is what they pay for the 20-year-old that made me leave has never been homeless or know how hard it is to not have a home or a bed to lay your head down on and hopefully she'll never find out what that's like but she was very hateful and shouldn't have that job because I believe power goes to some people's heads and it surely went to hers and the head management that came in the room to curse me out because she knew to close the door because she knew she would get fired for what she did

It was clean but the skills it takes to be compassionate for you no what they've been through. At times I wasbtalk to disrespectful. Talk to as if I need to not bring your problems here

I give this place a rating of two because the powers that be in this town think the homeless are trash!!!! They care nothing for the people some people can't help what happens to them and they end up homeless such as an investor coming to Albemarle and throwing six elderly people out at that we're paying $600 in rent just so they could raise the rent to $1,400 nice huh folks my advice is that if you visit this town visit it but don't move there LEAVE AS FAST AS YOU CAN DONT SUPPORT THE TOWN
THE TOWN IS ONLY FOR THE POWERS THAT BE IN THIS TOWN ! MICHEAL FERRIS IS THE ONE WHOS RAISED THE RENTS TO $900 BUT THE TOWN SHUTS DOWN ON WEDNESDAYS NO MONEY COMING IN BUT THEY STILL WANT YOUR MONEY

Very glad this place is here. Albemarle is a tough town to be homeless in, but thank God these people are willing to keep this shelter running. The staff are kind & willing to help the clients whenever they can, the rooms available for sleeping are comfortable & the people that bring in food for lunch & dinner are always friendly & normally bring in great food & everyone gets full. Thank you for all that you do for the community.

These people really care & volunteer their time to give people a good healthy meal at the community table & try also give the homeless a good safe place 2 lay their heads at night..wish that they didn't make you leave so early or be in so early but I guess beggers can't be choosers

Great place to go when you are homeless. Good caring people there.
