A good place to donate blood. They take walk-in as well though appointments are preferred. The people are very polite and helpful and the process is quite painless. The platelet and plasma donation is very slow though and it took me 100 minutes in the chair and a total of two hours there.

They have a nice pantry area to have some snacks and ensure that there are no side effects. You collect some points as you go along to then collect swag items from their website.

I donated blood today and was greeted by a very friendly volunteer. The staff there are very experienced with difficult blood draws, which I can be sometimes. I especially liked Ramona today. It is always great to go there whenever I am eligible to donate whole blood. The cookies make it well worth it they are fantastic.

donated there couple of times, the snacks are lacking, they don't even have a popcorn machines like red cross and they recently discontinued the passion fruit orange guava juice. no juice for my juice !!!

I’ve been donating at the Mountain View Stanford Blood Center for a year now. The front desk staff is lovely and welcoming. The nurses are super friendly, funny and professional. Plus, there’s yummy snacks and I also love how attentive the volunteers are at the resting area. Being able to help someone is priceless. If you are thinking of starting to donate blood, do it! It’s super fast, these people are incredible and will be there to assist with every questions you have.

I've donated many times at all three Stanford Blood Center locations. The staff are always friendly and professional. And the nurses are experts at doing the blood draw itself. Most of the time I barely feel the needle going in.

Best place to donate blood or plasma. You can have cookies before and after if you want. Protip: fill out medical forms online before for a faster processing experience.
