Brings so much spirituality the hard work and dedication the priests and the staff works and goes beyond spectations which is admirable.

I used to come here as a kid, nothing wrong being catholic thou but as a kid made me sad how they had a statue of of Jesus dying in Virgin Mary arm. I find it traumatizing for myself because Jesus is supposed to be remembered as the son of God.

We were extremely disappointed of father Dario his performance at my wedding was completely unacceptable. He never considered my padrinos. He literally did not give comunión to my guest. At the end he turned off the lights and shut down the doors on us we had to exit through the side doors. He never even took the time to apologize for his bad actions. He completely ruined what was supposed to be something special and memorable.

On 9/11/2021 father Dario treated mass for a wedding in a very disrespectful manner. Father started mass by laughing people in attendance when it was time to take a seat, he stood there and giggled as opposed kindly saying “ siéntense porfavor” he continued mass , and pointed out to padrino de velacion (who was injured from his back and using a cane to walk) he asked him to stand otherwise he was NOT going up the altar. He then Processed with padrinos de lazo, again you can’t come up due to your attire. Padre Darío was rude and disrespectful beginning to end. To end, he handed the just married couple their certificates, walked off and turned off lights. GOD IS WATCHING YOUR BEHAVIOR PADRE !!!! I’ve never seen a padre behave this way during mass, especially during a religious wedding, I want to voice my concerns with this church and their horrible behaviors towards us , the city of maywood.

I'm a catholic but I don't appreciate the Catholic Church taking advantage of people when people are in need of the church.

When my father passed, we went to St Rose of Lima to have a priest at his funeral. The church forced us to donate $400 or they wouldn't send a priest. I thought a donation was something we decided to give? Why call it a donation if you're forcing me to give a set amount? Just call it what it is, a payment for your service. I requested multiple times to speak to the head priest and he refused. St Rose of Lime and the Catholic Church is a business that only cares about profits. They don't care about their followers just the money. Anytime you need their help or services they charge a hefty amount, and of course, you're in need due to the situation so you pay.

This is wrong, donations shouldn't be a set amount. What if I couldn't afford to pay your set donation? You would of refused to provide help. St Rose of Lima was very clear, donate $400 or no priest would attend my father's funeral.

This abuse needs to stop.

I made my communion and confirmation at the Church back in early 1962....attended Mass every Sunday together with family......Beautiful Church ..feeling the spiritual movement among the community as we join together as family..2016.
