I’m so glad I found St. James Episcopal Church! It’s a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone feels at home. The choir is outstanding, with professional singers who truly elevate the service. There’s always something new to celebrate, making every visit special. Reverend Cindy and her staff are wonderful people who genuinely care about the congregation. I highly recommend this church to anyone looking for a friendly and inspiring place to worship!

I am very grateful to be a member at St. James. It is truly a faith community both welcoming and affirming. There are lots of activities, discussion groups and musical programs. I am a regular participant in the Ignatian Spirituality Group. That has become an important part of my journey. All are welcome at St. James and the parking is really good.

I’ve been attending St. James for a few months now. I was looking for a place to build community and to be able to give back/volunteer. I had been to other Episcopal churches and a non-denominational one nearby (and they were great, too) but I just really feel welcomed at St. James. They have purposeful events that build community and invite others to join in. They build into their community, through their various charitable activities. Their music is beautiful. And (arguably most importantly) ALL are included and welcomed. Know that you are included and welcomed, too.

*Check the little blurb on the website about where to park. The first time you join it helps to have that information in advance. (Coming from someone who parked in the wrong spot at first.) 😊

St. James is warm and welcoming to all. Fabulous events for families, meaningful ministry opportunities and ways to give back to the community. Hospitality hour is second to none with coffee and light lunch after services. Fried chicken and waffles for Mardi Gras and Paella dinner for feast of St. James are delicious and festive!

What we found highly disappointing was one of their members of this church harassed about the parking that we had legal access to but their interactions were highly suspect as we didn’t believe that they were sincere in their interactions with us. This is not Christian behavior. This is clearly not a church I would ever join.

St. James Episcopal Church is like home for my family and I. From inspiring sermons to fun, family church events, we have many fond memories from over the years. It’s comforting to know we have a place to go to that encourages community and peaceful purpose.

Our family has been attending services at St. James since 2018. We were drawn there by warmth of the welcome we received and have since come to appreciate the inclusiveness and forward - and outward-looking vision that the Vicar fosters in preaching, education, and outreach to the wider community.
