The church is a uniquely photographic backdrop. But beyond the structure- the people involved made this sacrament a memorable day. From the pre-cana prep to the wedding nuptial mass for our son & his beautiful bride, Father Gutherie was a patient, welcoming & wonderful guide! He is an amazing speaker and made the mass intimate & all about the couple. We also cannot say enough about Kathy & Amy the wedding coordinators... they were the "icing on the cake" to the "magically perfect" wedding. Thank you!

Beautiful church, typical N.O. mass but crowded so that must say something. We got lucky with this one because while traveling it can be hard to find a place to attend. If I found myself back in this town ever again on a Sunday then I would go here. Remember just because you're traveling it is no excuse to miss mass. A little research, as in google search you can find a place to go.

Was here for a wedding. The service was beautiful and Father Ray did a wonderful job. It was so wonderful I ended up attending the Sunday mass at 0730 the next morning. This church community is serious about faith and you will find a welcoming community of people on their journey to be more Christlike.

Fine folks, liberal parish.

Upon reflection, I want to commend this parish for the friendliness of a few people and the enthusiasm of the priest in what he considers important in his ministry.
I wonder if the Eucharist is one of those things. You see, one of the things that can happen when you receive communion on the hand is that someone could drop the biscuit—lol—some poor soul did do that, God bless him! That’s all I’ll say about that; theologically speaking, it’s probably above my pay grade anyway…the building is very beautiful and well built and it’s a great place for Mass. And I’ll probably come back now and again.

My wife and I attended Sunday mass here during 4th of July wkend. The priest left the pulpit during his homily and was going up and down the aisles making quite the scene. In addition to this he would go on to say that “God is not suppose to be above family” I’m sorry does Matthew 12 30:31 say Love your family with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength?
Very bizarre thing for a catholic priest to say. A lot of cringey protestant music as well.
My wife was also denied communion on the tongue.
Would not return and would advise others to stay far away.

Beautiful Wedding Mass ! Priest made it personal for bride and groom and had a sense of humor. Abby, who helped coordinate the wedding was so nice and helpful. The spirituality of ceremony was inspiring.
