I have been coming every year for the las 6-7 years. This year I’m very disappointed because the food portions are super small compared to the price we are paying for. Also, I come to eat the Baklava ice cream, and they run out by 1:30 pm when the egret started at noon pm and ends at 6:00pm. The good side of its a nice family environment, and I got to spend time with my daughter.

Great Greek festival. The food is very tasty even if the chicken pieces were small. The desserts are the best, eat them first.

This wonderful congregation hosts an Annual Greek Festival which attracts people from all faiths and many cities. The festival features AMAZING food prepared by their members (home-made Greek food and many pastries), and features Greek dancing, music; dozens of booths where high quality items are available for sale (many are homemade or handcrafted). The church is a great venue also for the annual San Joaquin Potters Guild Annual Fine Arts Festival in November that features many dozens of booths where Artisans from around the region sell their handcrafted creations. GREAT event, perfect timing for Holiday shopping!

My grandfather Angelo Metaxas was a member in the beginning before the original church was torn down to make way for the cross-town freeway (Hwy 4). I have been a member since I was born. The Greek Festival in my humble opinion is the best festival in Stockton and the surrounding areas (No offense to any of the other festivals out there intended). Come for Sunday service, you will not regret it. It's always a beautiful service. Nothing but kind, accepting and genuine folks here.
