Sri Sharadamba Temple in the Bay area is a blessing to all devotees. Nagraj Bhat's integrity towards providing service to the community is unparalleled. His family's dedication to the temple is impeccable. There's ample parking space, even on the busiest days I was able to park without much difficulty. Festival celebrations, and Saturday rathothsavams with Bhajans are my favorite times to visit the temple. There's annadaana on Saturdays, food will be served to all devotees in a traditional style.

One of the highlights of this temple which sets it apart from others is the variety of spiritual/cultural programs it conducts. Navaratri is just one example which I witnessed, there were devotees participating in Gaana and Nrithya Seva every day. The temple has also held spiritual discourses and often are intriguing. The volunteers I meet at the temple are very friendly and always willing to help with any information. Overall it never makes me feel away from home, it feels as if I am part of the celebrations in Sringeri.

SEVA is definitely one of the most calming temples you’ll find. I’m always captivated by its spiritual aura.

The temple always has a peaceful environment. One could say “divinity” “is in the air”, literally and figuratively 🙂

Pandit Nagaraja Bhat is very sincere and thorough in the poojas and activities he performs at the temple. He genuinely cares about providing the devotees a “Sringeri like” experience, and I’d argue it’s as close as it gets.

As the name SEVA suggests, Sringeri Education and Vedic Academy also offers a lot of Vedam/Slokam classes for kids and adults. If interested, I highly recommend reaching out to the priest.
