What a great place to dig around in! They have everything organized super nice, it's a great treasure hunt spot downtown statesville, the kids there are friendly and helpful. I hope it's around forever! Support local❤️

The store has upgraded . there isn't clothes that is trashy. It is more expensive than Goodwill, but the quality is amazing and you will find some cute stuff.!

Updated 4/11/25. Visited today. Prices continue to be higher for furniture and decor. The new cosmetics section is overpriced. There was a can of Nivea body was for $21 and Cottonelle wipes small pack for $4. Most stuff didn't seem to be quite the great deal as being described.

Used to love shopping here. They arrange their items beautifully and have often had items made by staff like handmade wreaths and flower arrangements. They are way overpricing things now. I find myself barely buying anything. The only things I still find affordable are clothes and books. Most of the home decor and furniture is too expensive. Doesn't feel like an affordable thrift store.

they claim to help foster children who aged out of the system, but the owner lied to my social worker and i about holding a couch i desperately needed, as someone who is freshly an adult with little to no help from family out on my own. the workers are rude and so is the owner. will never come here again. thanks for nothing.

This store doesn't deserve a one star, but I have to put a star in order for my review to come up. This used to be a fun, safe, and friendly place until one of the volunteers was very ugly to my autistic brother and his worker! Then, after she talked to the staff, the volunteer approached her to apologize because she was being made too. The worker said, "ok" because she really couldn't say things that she probably wanted to say, and she was being professional. The volunteer continued to talk to someone on the phone, making comments like, "I shouldn't have apologized," and and running her mouth about the situation. The person in charge watched her be. Across the room and continue to run her mouth about the worker and did nothing about it! Not even telling her to get off of her telephone when all the rest of the special treasure staff does not use their phone while on the clock. I know my brother's worker did say that a Kathy. She reached out to her and hoped they would come back because they enjoyed seeing them. A month or so went by, and they decided to give it a try again on a friday. The volunteer is still there and so my brother can't go back to the place, He loves because it's not safe because they allow volunteers like this to continue to volunteer there.!! It is sad, Because every thursday and friday, he begs to go. It's sad that someone who has been coming for years and years. Can't come because of a new volunteer who is very disrespectful, mean, and hateful, allowed to stay there and keep it from being a safe place for my brother and others like him to come!! SHAME ON YOU, SPECIAL TREASURES 😡😡
