A great facility that really cares about the athletes, coaches, families, partners, and volunteers. Everything about the exterior/interior is top-notch and you an tell they put all of their funds into the events and improving the lives of those it serves.

I was blown away and humbled at a recent volunteer opportunity.

Check out the parking lot behind them. Quiet and calm place for if you need some deep breaths or just a spot to sit and get away from the world for a moment. No loitering druggies either 🙂

During the years that my son was involved with the special Olympics it was great.But there was one incident, when they were using at Wendler Middle School, and the door was propped open and this homeless
man walked in and I assumed he had to use the bathroom . My son noticed the man and said get out of here.My son of course got into trouble,but I blamed the leaders because the man could have hurt the kids and you can not sue Special Olympics or at least they beg you not to
