The South West Regional Airport (RSW) near Fort Myers is one of the more pleasant airports we've had the opportunity to use.
It is an international airport, although more than 90% of the traffic is probably local. There are international connections only to/from Canada and one to Germany.
We'll fly from here with the major U.S. airlines, led by American Airlines, United and Delta, and Alaska Airlines, but also low-cost airlines like Southwest and Spirit. The route network is also impressive and covers almost the entire United States.
The airport is very compact, and the staff is pleasant and friendly.

I recently had a fantastic experience at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). The airport is clean, well-organized, and efficiently managed, making travel a breeze. The staff is friendly and always ready to help, from check-in to security to baggage claim.

The layout is intuitive, with clear signage that makes navigating through the terminals straightforward. The security process was smooth and quick, with TSA agents who were professional and courteous. There are plenty of comfortable seating areas, charging stations, and free Wi-Fi, which is great for staying connected and productive while waiting for a flight.

The variety of dining and shopping options is impressive for an airport of this size. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or a sit-down meal, there are numerous choices that cater to different tastes and preferences. The local souvenir shops also offer a nice selection of unique items.

Overall, RSW provides a pleasant and stress-free travel experience. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling to or from the Southwest Florida area. I look forward to my next visit!

Fort Meyer airport- although termed as international Airport, its a cosy and looks personal kind of Airport.
There is less to walk from one to another Concourse. Eating joints are available- not plenty but just enough.
But beware, if you have an hour or a couple of hours of time, there are long lines

Only experience with this airport is with an arrival/incoming flight. It's a smaller sized international airport that was very clean, organized, and easy to navigate through.

Southwest Florida International Airport is a clean and efficient facility that makes traveling a breeze. The layout is easy to navigate, with clear signage and plenty of space to move around. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the security process is typically quick and organized.

The dining and shopping options are decent, though I wish there were a few more choices, especially for longer layovers. Parking is convenient, but it can get a bit pricey depending on your length of stay.

Overall, it’s a great regional airport that gets you in and out without much hassle. A solid experience that I’d happily recommend to anyone flying through Fort Myers!

First rate regional airport that is not too big neither too small. Layout is easy with plenty of airline carriers to choose from. Long term parking is excellent with shuttle bus service back and forth. Price is very reasonable- $55.00 a week or $11.00 a day. Terminals inside the airport are easy to get to and store options are great. Bathrooms are clean as well.

This airport is really nice. This airport is smaller than Florida’s major airports but still is big on the inside. Within the terminal, there are mostly places to get snacks but there is a lack of restaurants. In addition, our gate agent was quick with scanning our boarding passes. The seating areas can get crowded sometimes but fortunately these areas are clean. The TSA team is very friendly as well.
