Mikey Pacek, the trainer at Soledad Ranch has been hard at work in the continued training of my Colt. We have huge plans for him this year as Finn and Mikey continue their success. Mikey will be starting Finn with mounted shooting training and introducing him to ranch horse versatility. At Soledad Ranch you can be sure your horse is in the best hands! I highly recommend Mikey for all of your training and tuning up needs! He has given my boy the amazing start he needs. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Thank you Mikey for all your hard work!!!

Mikey is a fantastic trainer that has taken me from a novice rider to finally feeling comfortable riding at a competitive level, which I didn’t even know was possible. Not only does Mikey know how to train horses, he knows how to train the rider, which in my experience is not always the case. I will always recommend Mikey for anyone who needs training in everything from Western trail riding / basics to English show jumping.

Mikey Pacek and his team are very knowledgable, caring, compassionate, reliable and treat your beloved horse like their own. Mikey and his team took amazing care of my senior horse Christy till her last day. She was loved on, brushed, and stayed in one of his spacious pastures. Mikey is beyond amazing!! My daughter's horse was out of control. Mikey has done what I wasn't sure could be done. My 11 year old daughter has complete control of her horse now with Mikey's training. She went from a very anxious horse to being very calm and my daughter now has complete control. My daughter now how alll the skills she needs to be a safe confident rider. In my eyes Mikey is a horse whisper. Not only does he have a way with the horses my daughter absolutely loves him. We are so grateful for Mikeys help You cannot go wrong.
He truly is the best. He really cares dearly about his Clients and their horses.

My horse Blissey was in full time training here with Mikey. My horse went from being a wild skittish animal that nearly killed Mikey within 30 minutes of arriving, to becoming a docile and bomb proof trail horse that i can ride in parades. The animals here are well cared for, fat and happy. I would trust mikey with any of my animals, top notch care and the training program here is gentle and effective.

If I could give it a zero I would. I will let pictures speak for themselves but the number one thing to know about Mikey is he is liar. I do not recommend boarding here if you want your horses taken care of at all.
Highlights:
Both my horses were regularly without water when it was over 80°
If they did have water it was often absolutely disgusting
My gate was left open to my mare multiple times with multiple stallions on the property
Garbage was thrown in my horses feeder
I watched horses get stuck on the lassos on the fences and told to mind my own business
He regularly ran out of hay so we had to buy our own
His stallion got out after his gate was left undone and hurt my horses
The list could go on but this is just to name a few.

Also, most of the reviews left here are from people who don't board their horses or his daughter or his daughters friends.
