Love this place. Prices have skyrocketed since covid and reselling has taken off, but it's still the largest thrift store with a dizzying amount of product regardless of what you're looking for. You could spend hours upon hours upon hours here.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul claims it is the largest thrift store in Los Angeles, which certainly seems true. Upon entering, it feels like an indoor swap meets market. The store offers a great variety of items for purchase, ranging from washing machines to automobiles and from large house furnishings to kitchenware and small appliances. While I found the prices fair, they were too high for my budget. Nonetheless, there is something at this thrift store for everyone. I plan to return when I have more time and money to explore further.

Lots of junk littered around with very little of value. The clothes is nice but due to their insufferable tag policy you probably won't get the item you need. The manager spoke to us as if she had to cycle through some intense database to price a single coat. I understand some things are out of their control, but there was no alternative she offered, no resolution other than a brief explanation of the policy that just reinforced how old and outdated the process is. Don't waste your time here, just go to goodwill next door.

Been donating and shopping at this place for years. Prices have increased significantly over the years, at times some clothing items are higher than at the retail store. Lately I have walked out without buying anything and that's ok. But today the experience was different because they don’t accept rolls of coins. I was trying to use them because my bag gets too heavy and I can feel it in my shoulders. I look around for signs posted on the matter but couldn't find any. Too bad

Not sure who’s doing the pricing here, but it’s an absolutely middle finger to the customers, not to mention all the low income/homeless people in the community. Old 8x10 beat up picture frames for $16.99, mixers that are missing parts for $17.99, and short sleeve collared shirts for $14.99.

These items are donated FREELY do you. Stop price gouging… I can assure you you’ll have more sales with lower prices and probably way less theft.

If you have a few hours to spend to go through all the racks and find what's on sale, it can definitely be worth it. I hope some day though the thrift boom collapses and thrift stores go back to being THRIFT STORES and charge way way less.

Also I don't recommend trying on the clothes before you buy. Their no tag no purchase policy is very strict and if the tag pops off while you're trying stuff on you might end up SOL. In fact if you are needing to try something on for sure, find an employee and have them personally verify that the clothes have tags attached.

The HOLY GRAIL of Thrift Stores! Go early and avoid the weekends. Every hipster in LA goes there. You will see more hits than misses. However, resellers come early to take the good stuff and charge double. My husband and I scored these 2 vintage chairs from 1974 for $79 during a flash sale.

I used to love coming here for the amount of items and things to look through. It was a GIANT thrift store, but now the prices have gotten out of hand. They are selling used items for the same as if you bought them new. I’m now officially DONE shopping here. It’s a shame, because it’s only a matter of time before others start to realize the same. I’ve included photos to show what I’m talking about.
