Went for Sunday brunch in December. I was under the impression it started at 11am. Got there a little early so we could find a great spot, which I did out front. Come to find out, they do open at 11, but don't start serving until 12. When I got there, it was super cold inside. I was told by others in my group, DO NOT GET THE CHICKEN. But I got it anyways, along with the potatoes. When my food came out, the presentation was decent. When I took a bite of my chicken, it had a smell. THREE other people in my party smelled the chicken to make sure I wasn't mistaken. I even had my waitress smell it and she agreed. It smelled like fish, but tasted spoiled. She took my plate back and the kitchen ensured it was NOT cooked in the same oil as the fish, but come on. They took the meal off with no problems and offered me a different meal. I declined and had my bottomless mimosas with just the potatoes, which were definitely edible. I'll come back for the night vibe, but NEVER for brunch again!

They did away with the body painted waitresses which means there's pretty much no reason to go here since you can get the same quality food at any bar & grill. Owners have a bad attitude as well.

I seriously hope this place never ever plans a Mardi Gras tent again!! The event planner/coordinators of this event failed miserably!!! The John summit tent was oversold by easily 1,500-1000 tickets. The bathrooms were destroyed and one way in and one way out making the lines crazy long… The bartenders were overworked and the line to even get one drink was over an hour long. People were getting knocked to the ground and trampled to even try to see the stage because there were so many people . This tent was set up for a Mardi Gras event not a John Summit event. The event planner should have known how big of a name John Summit was and not tried to squeeze out as much money as possible by over selling tickets. They need to do a public apology for how bad they failed at organizing this event. This was a huge safety concern and serious waste of money.

Definitely deserve a refund!!! 180$
Drove 3 1/2 hours from Illinois to attend the John Summit pop up tent. I will never go back to St.louis again.
Fight right when we arrived, extremely unsafe event! No workers to be found to help navigate the whole experience. NOT 1 single trash can to be found. Trash absolutely everywhere. Place was absolutely disgusting. We almost left immediately. But the money and drive we had to atleast try to enjoy it.
Line to get in absolutely ridiculous, wait to get a drink shit show all around.

Unlike previous visits, service was atrocious. Ten minutes to get menus, 20 more minutes for waitress. Two out of three orders arrived reasonably on time, third only after the man bringing food out of the kitchen. The third order finally arrived and was wrong.

Waitress who took the orders was not seen again until a person from our table went to find her to get his check.

The people at the next table were there well before us and only got their food as we were leaving.

The man bringing the food out of the kitchen seemed to be the only one diligently doing his job, and doing his best to cover for those not doing there's.

Horrible and dangerous business practice. They clearly over sold tickets at the high price of $180 for Mardi Gras. Insane line to get in, insane wait times, insane lines for bathrooms. No chance of ever getting a drink. People got squeezed in to where they were almost getting trampled. I will be disputing this as fraud. Your security guards who were not displaying their security licenses as required by law and will be receiving a complaint as well. Stay away!

Mardi gras was such a a disappointing experience thanks to the playr1 tent this year.
The line to get in was barely moving and when we got to the front, we were made to wait over 20 more minutes after already waiting almost an hour with no explanation on why they weren't letting anyone in. After we finally got in, we had to wait another 15 minutes just to get to the porta potty's which were mostly out of toilet paper by 3pm. The food was being served so close to the toilets that I wouldn't eat it even if it were free. The bars were so understaffed that it took over 30 minutes just to get a drink and they were out of almost everything by 4. This could have been a much better experience had it been better planned and better staffed. I won't waste my money on this again.

Bought the tickets for John Summit Mardi Gras party, and it was just so overbooked. The queue to enter & the queue to get a drink was SO long - I'm not kidding, like an hour long . Standing in an absolutely crazy packed crowd/line, not just once but every time - to enter the tent, to get a drink, and to use a restroom - every single time. It killed the enjoyment of the whole experience. Its honestly unfortunate because if things were organized better it would have one of the best events. But for the price, it was absolutely not worth the time, frustration, and patience. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone, nor would I do this again.
