SOAR Foundation, for the past 25 years, has provided 30,600 merit-based scholarships to more than 13,000 impoverished yet gifted students across rural China to finish high school and achieve success thereafter. Since 1995, many SOAR scholars have realized their dreams and permanently departed from a life of poverty. Success stories include some attending graduate schools, while others joining the workforce after college. In return, many become contributing members and future leaders of society, but also continue to give back to the community that they originate from.
