I've helped a lot of different charities and organizations in my life but I never get the satisfaction I get from helping Sister Maria Luisa and the nuns at the Sister Evelyn Mourey Center in El Centro. They work so unselfishly to help those dealing with poverty in the Imperial Valley. They get in the trenches and get their hands dirty to help in any way they can. Every day they do things to make the lives of their recipients better. If you have only a certain amount of money to donate to charities, consider keeping your dollars local and help these wonderful women out in their mission to help the poor and underserved.
