Here, you can find a community of people who are working to make our area a better place to live, with green spaces, hiking trails, and helping to keep our local flora and fauna abundant and vigorous. I started out with Sierra Club outings when I was in my 20's...let's just say that was a while ago. I learned to love and appreciate nature with the Sierra Club. I now volunteer with our local Loma Prieta Chapter and do my best to protect nature. The people I meet are knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. Join us!

The Loma Prieta chapter and Sierra Club in general are doing much of the key work in organizing to protect our environment and educating the public on these issues. The people are wonderful to work and play with and the chapter organizes many opportunities to do so that are interesting and educational. The newsletter is easy to use and full of good info of news and events.
