Shop Local Raleigh is such a fantastic resource for soloprenuers and small biz owners in the Triangle. I was feeling stressed trying to do all the things and bring all the ideas I had to life at one time. The team sat down with me and help me focus on the big vision and how to break that down into smaller steps. Most importantly, they helped me connect with other like-minded businesses in our area. They offer monthly meet-ups and online training regularly. Most importantly, they speak on our behalf to local governments and regulators so we can do what we need to do to earn and income and keep positively impacting our community. I am proud to be a member of this organization and thankful for the other businesses who help support us.

Shop Local Raleigh is the coolest! I am a local entrepreneur and a Raleigh native. I have dealt with numerous business oriented organizations and SLR is by far my favorite. Jennifer Martin's drive, network and love for her/our city is confounding! Anytime I am in need of advise or reach out for a connection or two, she or another member of this awesome and growing gang promptly delivers. SLR has been instrumental to the success of my business and I am proud to be a member. Speaking of members; this is one jovial group of people who are truly amazing. I have met many friends and endless resources attending all of the fun (not stuffy) events. If you take advantage of what Shop Local Raleigh has to offer you will be amazed. This is a group that cares about your personal welfare and will jump through hoops to help you any day of the week. Thanks SLR! The past three years with you all sure have flown by.

We joined Shop Local Raleigh because I was so impressed with the advertising campaign during Christmas urging local spending. Sine then we have realized how much more they do, from networking to arranging group advertising at special prices, always promoting the local benefits. Jennifer and the whole staff are helpful and courteous.

I’m a huge advocate for Shop Local Raleigh. I’m old! I’ve been around awhile. This is the very first organization that I have actually seen results from the work they do to promote small businesses. Very disappointed at the treatment of long term, civic oriented WRAL. Ms. Martin’s behavior seems more like a personal animus than professional disagreement. That the association allowed her to escalate her punitive measures caused me to lose respect for your organization. I try to shop local but why bother patronizing members who allow such behavior - Amazon pPrime is easier and just as cost effective. This was a needless, foolish argument and the association showed themselves unworthy of my respect and my money.
