This is a very quiet and serene temple. They had three different prayer halls open at the time of my visit. There is a huge seating area with benches in the main prayer hall.
Very well maintained, hardly 2-3 people around.
If you are in the area, surely pay a visit.

Very nice to visit, famous sai baba temple in bay area. Place is very calm and all devotees were following silence and well disciplined. They served free prasadam on Thursday evening. We went there by 6PM and that time it was empty and getting crowded after 7.

Follow-up to the SSP Leadership's response to my post

Dear Shirdi Sai Parivaar Leadership Team,

Thank you for your prompt and thoughtful response. I appreciate the importance of fostering a respectful and unified environment within our community, and I am grateful for your willingness to discuss these concerns.

To uphold transparency and address the concerns that many devotees have been expressing, I respectfully suggest that we hold an open discussion at the temple, in front of Baba, where all Sai Bhakts can be present. This would provide an opportunity for the board to address these matters openly, reassuring devotees that their contributions and support are being used solely for Baba’s Seva.

I believe that by discussing these matters in a transparent forum, we can work together to strengthen the trust and unity within our community. Thank you again for your attention to these concerns, and I look forward to a constructive dialogue in the spirit of devotion and integrity.

With gratitude and respect,
Ardent Sai Bhakt

To the Devotees of Shirdi Sai Parivaar (SSP) Temple

As a long-time visitor and donor to the Milpitas Shirdi Sai Parivaar (SSP) temple, I feel compelled to bring to light several serious concerns that have come to my attention. My hope is that by sharing these issues, we can collectively seek answers and work towards ensuring that our beloved temple remains a place of devotion, trust, and integrity.

Key Concerns:

1. Use of Devotees’ Donations for Legal Expenses
I have recently learned that SSP has received a legal notice, and it seems that funds collected from the Hundi donations—contributions meant for Baba’s Seva—may instead be directed towards covering legal costs. This is concerning, as it diverts resources away from the spiritual mission and charitable work that devotees expect their donations to support.
2. Questionable Selection Practices
According to some core team members, the election process may be compromised, allegedly structured in a way to favor specific individuals, including the spouses of certain board members. Such a process raises questions about fairness and transparency in how our temple’s leadership is chosen.
3. Resignation of a Board Member
Due to these irregularities, a dedicated board member reportedly resigned in frustration. The resignation of someone from a key leadership position over ethical concerns suggests a deeper need for transparency within the organization.
4. Doctored Documents
It has also come to light that official documents may have been altered to the extent that a document, intended for temple records, had a footnote labeled “Cisco Confidential.” This raises further questions about the integrity of temple documentation and governance.

An Appeal for Accountability and Transparency

I am sharing these concerns with all devotees out of love for our temple and a desire to preserve its sanctity. I encourage all fellow devotees to join me in respectfully requesting transparency from our temple’s administration. Together, we can ensure that our beloved SSP remains a place dedicated solely to the service and teachings of Sai Baba.

Let us stay united in our devotion and work together to foster a trustworthy and spiritually focused environment for all.

This message invites the community to take part in requesting greater transparency and integrity from the temple leadership. The tone of my message remains respectful and emphasizes a collective interest in safeguarding the temple’s mission.

We are visiting this temple for more than 10 yrs. This is a unique temple, with;
* Lots of devoted volunteers.
* We still remember the day when one of volunteer helped us to keep our baby in Baba's laps in chawadi. It was like fulfilling my grand father's desire to play with grand child. It was a lifetime divine experience that can not be described with words. Some of my friend's kids were also blessed with that opportunity.
* There are couple of volunteers who always shares the Baba's leelas in dinning area. After listening these live examples my teen nephew became strong believer of Baba.
* Volunteers used give an opportunity to be part of Baba's seva and bhajans

There is lot to write about our divine experiences from this temple.

Dear Managers - Shirdi Sai Parivaar.

I am writing this message with tears, I am not able to control my tears after watching an unfortunate viral video in social media about Shirdi Sai Parivaar management's behavior. To be honest, after the pandemic not seeing such incidents in the temple. No worries, you can bring back those days.
