TO ALL 501(c)(3) TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROVIDERS!! Don’t even bother applying. Shelter Partnership will not accept you! They do not accept housing providers that charge for beds or rooms. Even though we know even homeless shelters ALL OF THEM are paid per day per bed per person. We are not who they are talking about. Homeless shelters have limitations as far as how long they can stay, usually 90 days. Transitional housing folks are allowed to stay much longer and folks are still technically considered homeless. In-Kind donations will not make us money on help us continue to do the work we try to do as small organizations in the community. And there are way more 501 (c)(3) transitional housing providers than there are homeless shelters.
