Our family was very disappointed with how our father/ father in law was treated in his final days at this facility . I should mention he was only here for little over a week. Seems like the administration was more worried about making money than keeping a patient comfortable. Wanting to continue physical therapy, speech therapy, and wound consultation on a dying man instead of letting him rest. Tried to discontinue his liquid morphine in place of crushed Tylenol which is completely unacceptable in a hospice situation. Tried to force food/ trays on him. He hadn’t eaten for a week. Just bites if anything . They stated one day before his death he made a complete turnaround. Forcing his daughter to sit in on a conference to tell her he was getting better. She knew he wasn’t. They thought they knew him better than his own family. How sad to put this man through any of this. Only good thing on his last day, he had a kind nurse Pat who let us know morphine was still ordered. She gave this to him. Thank goodness for her and Angela. Don’t get me wrong there are some kind aides and nurses there, but it is run with too many chiefs in charge. That didn’t stop PT, speech and wound care from coming in the room to bother him. Can you say money. Please do not send your loved ones here. You will regret it.

My cousin was just sent here from the hospital and was only there for a week. We actually just lost her this past Saturday night. I want to say praise to the women and men that work there for being so caring and kind even though my cousin was only there for a short while. I would recommend this place all the way.
