This place is not good. Chicken and waffles are awful and it’s $19. Their cocktail list has $9 drinks but their mimosas are $12. Bar never seems to be open. I'm amazed this place is still open. Seriously, just go to McDonald’s because this is not good food. I’d be embarrassed to tell people I owned this place.

Took my wife here for her birthday recently; great staff very attentive and kind. While the atmosphere was welcoming and clean. The food had something to desire, thou the look was nice the taste didn't deliver. Also had the monster mimosa definitely a crowd pleaser.

We went there for a brunch and really enjoyed our food! The Brisket Omelette was really tasty; ask for fajitas with your house potatoes, very delicious! Spicy Bloody Mary was good too. Overall, great food and highly recommended, we will be definitely back next time we visit friends in Moorpark, CA!

I’ve given Serendipity Moorpark a few chances since it opened, after The Grinder closed. I’ve been here 3 times for breakfast and 3 times for lunch, and unfortunately, it hasn’t impressed me.

Most recently, I stopped in to order a chocolate milkshake. The host seated me at a table that still had the bottle of maple syrup from the previous customers sitting in the middle of the table. Not exactly the best start to my visit. I ordered the milkshake, but as I was drinking it, I noticed the ice cream had that unpleasant freezer-burn taste and those gooey ice crystals that develop when ice cream gets really old. I managed to drink about two-thirds of it before deciding it wasn’t worth finishing. It was just a bad shake.

Earlier visits weren’t any better. The first time I came here, I had the burger with fries with my dad. There was nothing special about it at all, and it lacked flavor. The fries weren’t anything to write home about either—just mediocre.

Another time I tried the Top Sirloin Steak & Eggs for breakfast, cooked medium-rare. The steak came out way undercooked, and the waiter had to keep sending it back to the kitchen to cook it properly.

I was hoping for better, but it seems like this place is mediocre at best.. I won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

The host was amazing! The food was good, and I suspect the atmosphere was super quiet because I went on a weekday, midday. Sports games were on, so weekends are probably the best times to go if you want some excitement! Definitely will visit again but with a group so we can try the monster margarita. I got the bottomless mimosas, and the best one was the strawberry, hands down!!!

Decided to try this location for lunch. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The prices are comparable to other restaurants and the portions were generous. The waitress was knowledgeable of the menu and offered suggestions. We sat near the bar area and it was not crowded at all. Overall.... it was a nice experience.

Good all day breakfast place, good size happy hour poke nachos, we found "make it combo" a good choice with both savory and sweet options included, food is ok usual american style with crepes.

What an amazing family owned business! Not only was the food perfect for a picky eater like myself but the staff was so kind and welcoming. Today I ordered a very basic breakfast that is easy to mess up. I ordered eggs scrambled well with hash browns and pancakes with a side of fruit. I'm very picky when it come to eggs... the eggs were perfect! Not stiff or watery, just perfect fluffy and delicious I did not have to season! The hash browns were crunchy on the outside without being burnt and moist and buttery in the middle. The pancakes!!!! Bah were delicious, first I tried them without syrup or butter and the batter was so fulfilling. Being firm on the outside and soft in the middle these absolutely hit the spot. After I added butter and syrup..... oh geez everything just got better. The fruit tasted fresh. The coffee was fresh Not burnt even without sugar. They offer French vanilla and half and half if you need it. The ice tea hit the spot! I'm definitely a tea drinker and this tea is top two for me. Now to the service... my main server was Jazz. Jazz was more than kind and accommodating. They were absolutely willing to tell me about the restaurants history and how they love working for this family. The other servers were super kind as well. I didn't go without a drink the entire time. Everyone smiled and looked very clean! Then entire place is very clean. They offer alot of mimosa combinations for those who want a breakfast with friends . All in all this place is definitely a place I recommend to families, friends or single riders lol. They will make you feel welcomed and will accommodate and become creative to make sure your visit is the best. Oh and if you have allergies... they have a second kitchen to prepare the food. I loved it!
