We were visited by Wes in the hospital on a Saturday to explain hospice care and all that it entails. He was so patient and thorough. Gave us much needed info to make decisions for our parent's hospice care. Thanks again Wes.

Sequoia Home Health is the second home care group that I have dealt with, I can’t remember the name of the first one but they couldn’t find my condo. Sequoia is a first rate home health, they gave me a 3 week evaluation period with 4 different specialists: registered nurse, social worker, occupational therapist and physical therapist. I ended up with 4 nurse visits (first signing up visit was done by a nurse), 1 occupational therapist, 2 social worker and 3 with a physical therapist. I met all my goals and I am on a path to continue doing yoga floor exercises (on my own) after the guidance of my wonderful physical therapist. Everyone was on time, stayed withIn their hour time limit and notified me when they would be at my home. They were all easy to talk to and wanted me to succeed in my transition from the hospital to my home.

Sequoia Home Healthcare provided Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Nursing Support after I returned home from the hospital, having had open heart surgery in July of this year. Their providers made appointments to fit my schedule and always "went the extra mile" to insure that treatment was well managed - which included facilitating my ability to continue therapy on my own between visits. They arrived on time, were always courteous and worked within the limits provided by my surgeons. I recommend them to friends. And now I recommend them to you.

I had knee replacement surgery on January 10, 2025. I had an in-home Physical Therapist come for 4 visits. She showed me more exercises than what I'd already been doing. It's only been 3½ weeks since surgery and I have minimal pain, can straighten my leg completely, and go up and down the stairs normally, instead of 1 step at a time, keeping my leg straight.
The PT was kind and understanding, took the time to really listen to me. I'm not an easy case. I broke my back when I was 20 and have had multiple broken bones since then. I also have Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma, and it spread to my bones in my right ankle. Skin cancer in your bones.... Crazy, huh? Thankfully, after 2 yrs of immunotherapy infusions, I've been NED (No Evidence of Disease) for 6 years now. Melanoma doesn't have a cure so being NED, or in remission, is a win with this kind of cancer.

I would like to start off by saying thank you to all the staff involved with my husband Robert. Our Grandson Austin, and myself I have heard of stories regarding Hospice. And we were always against it. But going through this terrible time in our lives with Robert the staff were TRULY TRULY very Respectful, Kind and Understanding, Compassion 1st to the patient, our family explained everything to us STEP by STEP incourge us made us feel comfortable with the process because it's not an easy thing to go through 🙏 sometimes you just don't feel good regarding the medication but it was something MUCH MUCH needed for his condition but I'm GRATEFUL they were there for our family 😊 oh and yes I Would differently want to have Hospice if and when I may need them I ALMOST FORGOT THEY SUPPLY EVERYTHING YOU WILL POSSIBLY NEED MEDICATION DELIVERY Quickly ALL the Supplies you will ever need. A phone number to call at anytime of day or late evening

Very good facility, so far I have had very good people taking care of my mom. Gabriel (and previously Theresa) gives my mom a very good bath, he's very friendly, polite and attentive! Emelda is a very friendly, thoughtful and considerate nurse. I watch how she cares for my mom wounds and learns how to do it on myself on her days off. I am grateful for both Sequoia home health & hospice employees who takes the time to really care for their patiences!
