Me and my girlfriend were building a home through self help enterprises. Their supervisor Ray went over to my now ex’s house while my kids were there and had slept with the mother of my kids. Completely ruined our family and they refused to fire him after I brought it up to management. I am not okay with him being moved to a different site. My lawyer and I are now suing this non profit organization .

I had a great experience at Goshen 1 or 11 not sure bur both very welcoming and had wheelchair accessible apartments but at this time not vacant. Rosa was beyond amazing. She made my disabled son feel normal he needs a full-time caregiver but was excited to have his own place.

I have had a great experience with the self help organization.
They help everyone who wants to help themself. They have amazing people that offer resourses to those of us who participate in our own advancement in life.
The negative reviews are not my experience at all.
Self Help is a fine organization aimed to help any individual who will help them help theirselves.

Very disappointed. Yessenia gave me hardest time to get application. She acted like she didn't have. Discrimination. It's a joke and I contacting whoever in charge. My so. Is disabled and homeless.

Their name literally says it all. You have to help yourself because they sure won't. They'll drag out your entire file and claim. Give you vague responses once every 2 weeks. They like to waste your time with beating around the bush, no straight forward answers. If you're struggling, and find a job in the middle of your claim they'll wait until you get a paycheck and say you make too much. THESE PEOPLE ARE SHADY! DO NOT EXPECT HELP BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT BE THERE FOR YOU! You're better off going to another company for help. Thanks for wasting my time fake help!

Extremely rude receptionist, I don’t know if she was having a bad day but she made it a point to make me feel uncomfortable. I just needed information about housing, she looked at me up and down, gave me nothing but attitude. Work on your customer service, I wish I knew her name but it was to the point where I had to remove myself. Not only that, she gave me the wrong information. Dissatisfied.

Water service is amazing, in the time of need Self Help was there to save the day. I know of other families that use this program, the are also great full with the help and service.
