The only time I ever saw anyone from the SEIU was just before their elections were coming up. Other than that my only other experience with them was when I went in to sign up for my insurance benefits which was only a 2 hour window one weekday.

SEIU 521 provides extremely poor customer service. They don't seem to know how to communicate beyond the union line script. I also spent some time looking at their budget and was not impressed with their spending.

Let's just say that I'm dropping my membership. No representation when you need them, they spend too much money on conventions, travel expenses, meals, etc, and do not provide a strike fund for those of us who pay their salaries with our dues. I could go on, but It won't fit on this review.
