I went during the time listed on their website, the doors were locked. I called, left a message and someone called me back with in 5 minutes. She argued with me that the door was not locked and informed me that food is not available there for pick up. She told me to go back to Santa Cruz and go to the salvation army. Not much help at all.

If I was able to give a zero, I would. Worst service ever now that they giving food at the fairgrounds. People giving out food giving people punishments to everyone for one individuals fault. They were acting like children. Over three hours for nothing. Letting people behind the line get food before those in the front. Unorganized. Need to train their staff/volunteers better. Horrible

Thank you to all the people that are helping and all the food. Just one comment about the food sometimes the veggies are not that fresh because they probably been packed like days before so they are bad by the time you passed them out another thing I wish they would give different canned food it would be nice if you can make changes. Thank you again

Second Harvest has been a lifeline for the Holy Cross Food Bank.

We went from 2,000 meals to 15,000+ meals packaged per week because Second Harvest brought in California National Guardsmen(women too) to package food to be shipped.

We are now receiving 5-6,000 pounds of food a week which we process with 28 volunteers.

We are so grateful for Second Harvest. God Bless them!

If you are doing delivery go to the second driveway From Ohlone Pkwy. There are 2 doors. Easy back up from the road. Fast unloading
