Don't fall overboard at low tide.

We have many great memories at the SCC. Affordable cocktails,food ,music & dance. We are not members & instead ask to be put on the guest list in advance when there is a particular band we are interested in seeing. ( We were seriously thinking of joining as a member)
However, over time we dreaded the reception of Brian's low growl as we check in at the front door to pay the cover charge.

He does not have a welcoming demeanor. ( Some people we talked to will not return to the SCC because of him).

He is combative & unpleasant.

( For example- several months ago the gate was locked and it was pouring rain. Finally upon entering, we asked Brian how people were supposed to enter if the gate was locked. He gave some flippant answer and pretty much said " someone would open it eventually". I informed the band members of this , they were astonished, flabbergasted and now understood why attendance was low. ...loss of revenue).

After last night's public humiliating scolding from Brian, we will not be returning from now on...

It's a great little place. Monday blues jam. You do have to register. Nice little bar too. There's a gate to get up the ramp. We haven't figured out how to open it yet. Been fortunate that people were leaving so they opened the gate then we could get in.
