The San Rafael Elks Lodge #1108 is one of the best kept secrets in the area. It is located in a funky old mansion that used to belong to Local Socialite & Arctic Explorer, Louise Boyd. The house is packed with Edwardian touches and history, a huge professional grade kitchen can prepare meals for any size function, there is an inside ballroom, and a huge outdoor events area. Many families take advantage of the swimming pool. Dues are reasonable and the benefits you receive in return outweigh any expenses.

I love my club! We just went to the family holiday party, and it was the best! The volunteers had great craft projects for the kids and even a “snowball” fight. The dinner was yummy, but even better was the Hawaiian ensemble ukulele players and dancers. I certainly didn’t expect that wonderful entertainment. That made it a delightful evening for the adults, too. Of course, the adults enjoyed watching the 49er rout of the Eagles on the big screen while the kids played with the volunteers.
Then, the highlight for the kids was Santa! He was great, and the photographer took numerous pictures for the families. The kids received a generous haul of fun gifts, too.
This was a truly magical afternoon/evening! Thank you, fellow elks, for such a fantastic time.

Wow, San Rafael lodge really is a special place. Saw a great band here recently and the staff was super nice, inexpensive dri KS and plenty of room for dancing. They also served a really nice fish and chips meal as well. Looking forward the the next time

Was there to attend a Halloween Party and had a wonderful time. The site is a renovated mansion on a beautiful secluded property. The party was well-managed, secure and fun. The party-goers were all well-behaved and respectful, but still fun. My favorite part, was the side lawn area with the center fountain. Just beautiful!

We went to watch two bands and they offered several grilled sandwiches. The bar drinks are very reasonably priced. Enjoyed our time.

Hosted my wedding there and had a not so good experience by the coordinator did not want to have the bar close last minute, she said it had to be open. And I didn’t want it open anymore since I found out the few people that do like wine and such were not going to make it to the party. I didn’t want the bar to be open and she would not close it. My wedding was a Christian wedding and she should have closed it. As the night of the wedding went bad.
