This county building is awful. They do not return calls. The case workers do not handle cases in a timely manner. They should be assisting individuals and families within our community properly. These people apply for services for a reason and should be handled accordingly. The case workers lack training and do not show that they truly service the individuals with the high desert.

If I could I'd give no stars there is no possible explanation as to why I have remained on hold for almost 3 hrs and counting and please explain why a worker cant answer the phone provided to us if that's the case why even give the number out? Thinking of sending an email? DONT it just says address is not found! is this a way to discourage people that are applying for benefits?

Things don't seem to get done in a timely manner at all and reaching them is very difficult. The security guards and friendly and helpful though. My food stamps haven't been given to me in full and I am constantly writing them to resolve this and I have contacted them about 13 times now and still my full allotment of foodstamps are not on my card.

I was very pleasantly surprised. I had transferred my EBT card to this office. I don't have a car so we walked and they close at 430 but to sign in n whatnot cutoff is 415. We were told this when we walked in at 422. At first they said we'd have to return the next day but then she saw how sweaty we were and asked if we had walked n when she learned this she offered to call the relevant department to see if we could slide in. They allowed us to. Then at the kiosk we had a similar interaction being told it was passed cutoff at which time I informed her that front desk called n received the green light. She walked over to front n confirmed this. Upon walking back she asked me if I was ok due to my red face and sweating n still catching my breath. When she learned we walked she was even more understanding about the whole thing and after 10 mins or so they called my number, guy in the back was very polite, got me in n out n even apologized for my wait. Overall it was a refreshingly compassionate and helpful visit in which I completed the business I came for fast n easily. Thank you to everyone there.

Worst location possible!!!! My cases are still all pending after months! Told it would be approved in 3. Days it’s well after that. Contacting them! ? GOOD LUCK you can’t get any one of the phone! Leave all the voicemails you want nothing gets done!

MS Reyes NEVER answers her phone. Many attempts to contact and many voicemails and nothing back. Good luck

Everyone here is extremely rude, and very uneducated! Whenever I go in, all I get is attitudes and eye rolls! When I was told one thing by one worker, then another worker told me they told me the wrong information! There is no communication in the entire office, they just "message" each other. I sat and waited for almost an hour to speak to someone! If you don't like your job, or you don't like working with the public, get a new job!

Mailed out a expedited service case after going to office to pick up card then they denied me & stated I never went there to pick it up. Then decide to mail it to someone who is homeless? Looks like more shoplifting next 10 business days and begging for bus rides. You guys are unhelpful I could care less about what I posted too. Had the weirdest feeling you guys would do this. So normal lol thanks so much!
