The city of Sumas, WA, flooded in 2021; Samaritan's Purse came in and helped do damage clean up when 85% of the houses were flood damaged. I had friends for whom they removed damaged flooring, drywall, cabinets etc to allow it to dry out (all for free). Great organization.

I served with them on October 2017 and I cant wait to go to Key West next weekend to serve again. I already sent the Christmas shoebox for the kids that they are going to give. It's just a blessing what they do and its a pleasure to be able to be a part of the projects. 🙏💙

I had no idea the volume, scope and planning it takes to both reach children with the annual shoebox drive, but also the disaster relief efforts made around the world--often within 30 hours of the onset of a disaster. It is truly amazing and everyone at Samaritan's Purse will tell you He provides, they are just the vehicle.

THIS PLACE DOESN'T ALLOW DELIVERIES ON PROPERTY EARLIER THAN 8:30a.

(my paperwork showed a 7a appointment.)

The truck entrance is exactly where Google maps shows it to be. although there are a couple different building on separate sides of multiple streets. you will want to follow signs (past "White Pine St") to "main warehouse" and enter just past building at 2nd entrance. sign reads "Truck Entrance Only", then just buzz security from the gate.

i arrived at 6:35a.
the security guard informed me that no one would be here until 8:30a to start unload.
but despite that, he was very nice and allowed me to remain at the gate until they opened, so i pulled to the right of the driveway, out of the way,
(to allow employees to access the key swipe for entrance.)
almost exactly 8:30a the gate opened and i was told to go in. an employee was waiting by the back gate to take my paperwork and give me a dock door. they started unloading within 2 mins of locking the brakes.

there's plenty of room to maneuver into the well painted, clean, wide, well marked dock doors.

I'm holding out that 5th star because.... i didn't see a bathroom, but i didn't ask about one either, so that's still up in the air... and...

NO OVERNIGHT PARKING.
