I was very transparent with the person whom I communicated with. I told them I had a hectic work schedule. I even asked to attend make up classes. Simply refused. Won’t send you progress note unless you pay even if you can’t at the moment. They will put you’re lacking in cooperation and also poor attendance and say it’s the same thing. Asked for a second chance to improve my attendance and asked if they were there to help. Simply said not to contact them again or they will report it to the court. They’re not there to help they only care about fees.

I was with this group for some months. When you first walk in it’s a little rough looking but ok I dismissed it. I was supposed to be placed in Anger Management but I later found to be in Parenting class learning about marijuana and edibles. I questioned the Teacher about the subject because it was irrelevant, she said “This is a parenting class!” you may leave the class and join the correct class it won’t affect you”. I thought okay minor mistake. When I called they told me “oh it’s fine the classes are mixed” which was confusing. Anyways I asked if I could be moved to a class that would better cater my court needs. I was moved to Tuesday class. I immediately noticed I was in the right place. I was picking up on new skills I was excited to better myself . On July 15 I was billed incorrectly Which I brought to their attention but not much was done about it. At this point I’m slightly bothered but I carried on. Through this pandemic I caught severe tonsillitis. Although I checked in weekly my case was closed.

Overall I believe this place can be more professional & organized! Staff is very sassy, which is surprising to me as they are here to help us mentor us!

This place is a joke! The class is a
1 1/2 hours long when you get there they take the 1st 30-40 minutes doing attendance. Then go around room asking each person how there week went, when that us finally done there is about 20 minutes left for actual learning. Secondly t
hey have rules & policies that they must follow considering they are approved by the courts and they do a good job on following there own rules HOWEVER they also make up there own
UNWRITTEN "Rules & Policies" that has not been verbally told to you. My case was canceled due to "inconsistent attendance " even though I attended just the week before, there policy is if you MISS 2 classes consecutivel ( in a row)
they can cancel your case. I DID NOT miss 2 consecutive classes but they closed my case without informing me. I drove 23 miles to attend class only to get there and as I'm sitting in a seat instructor informs me they closed my case a week prior and I have a warrant now. They did not have the decency to warn me about " inconsistency will be grounds for closing cases and then didn't have the decency to inform me they closed my case making me waste my gas and time 3 hours total. I got permission from my probation officer to re-enroll I messaged Maria the person in charge I was told she will get back to me, a week later I again messaged her and she finally responded I can re enroll but now there's a 25$ enrollment fee. ( They don't charge enrollment fees) I messaged if I could attend on Thursday again I get no response a week later I message again now its a " sorry u can't enroll you should of weeks ago"!!! I was never told I had a time frame on re-enrolling.

Great place. They really are the true definition of staying out of trouble. The staff there are kind, and well prepared. They're constantly at work, and ready to have you counselled. From my experience, I felt like I were taught a little more of right from wrong. This program gave me opportunity and more space to think about myself, and others. I would recommend Safety Alliance Group in Pacoima for their dedication in showing other ways of responsibility. I found that rather enjoyable. This program truly shappened my approach, so when its the worst of times I would be ready and prepared to approach an negative encounter more calm, respectful, and more responsible then I would have normally did without this program. I've been there for a whole year, so I feel I have enough time and space for my next responsible move. I give my thanks to the well educated staff at Safety Alliance Group (SAG).

STAY AWAY MARIA LEYVA IS RUDE DOESNT HELP WITH COUNSELING AS YOU EXPLAIN YOUR SITUATION SHE HANGS UP THE PHONE SHE IS UNPROFESSIONAL SHE HAS NO MANNERS AND YELLS AT YOU AND DOESNT HAVE PATIENCE IVE HAD PATIENCE WITH HER FOR 1 year waiting for help but I will make sure I write what she did
