Stopped in for a bag of ice. Never would have stopped otherwise. It's a tired neighborhood convenience mart. Turns out it's owned by an Indian couple who cook fresh, made-from-scratch Indian food daily. I bought 3 samosas and they were as good as any I've had in Portland's many find Indian restaurants. They have a small menu of about 8 items. I am so thrilled to find take-out Indian food in my neighborhood!

Very good Indian take-out. This would be just another sad-looking neighborhood mini-mart, if it wasn't for the tasty, freshly-prepared Indian cuisine. It's to-go only. The portions are generous and the prices are modest. It really is made to order, so call about 25-30 minute in advance if you don't want to stand around in the dreary environs.

Nice enough little market, convenient location. Decent selection, decent prices. But I stopped there in the morning for some caffeine and a snack and I bought some pop tarts, yerba mate, and gum. The gum and the pop tarts were stale and way expired. It's not like they were low in stock or anything either.

The store's been family owned for a long long time it true that working there absolutely fantastic always wanting to help always have a great smile hard workers thay deserve your business to give it to him you'll enjoy i your experience the stories perfectly clean lit up now just a nice place the last guy that they least two for the last 7 years just ran it to the ground dirty and no product on the shelves so stop in and see your new convenience stores on Thiessen

Owner hit on me. His wife was out of town. It was not what i wanted when i went in. And so i go less often. Spend less money. Beware the horny little man with Indian accent.

I really like this market! The workers are very nice, the only problem is that the prices are very expensive.
