I visited the care home with a friend of mine from college. I was so pleased when I drove in and saw all of the beautiful plants, animals, and decorations on the outside and inside of the building. The residents were doing an activity before eating a homemade lunch. I could tell that the workers care deeply about how the residents are treated!

I visited the care home and was delighted to see all the residents awake and enjoying their time. From the short time I was there, I could easily tell that the caregivers are passionate about all of the residents as well as the Christian beliefs of the home. I would definitely put a family member in this home!

I visited the home with a friend of mine who had a family member there and to say it was beautiful is an understatement. Every employee was so welcoming and invested in the resident care. Rutledge Ranch is such a wonderful Christian home and I would definitely put my own family members in their care!

Unprofessional work place. Please do not take your loved ones to this facility. A few things to highlight my opinion. If a resident is capable of walking and wants to they are not permitted to because the owner doesn't want a "liability",when taken out of bed in the am all have to have minimum of 3 depends on at once so they won't need to be "changed" during the course of the day,activities are written on a calendar each month but no activities are actually offered besides bingo once a week ,most meals are prepared off-site then brought in as they were homemade,when a loved one passes in such a troubled and emotionally trying time the owner only gives 24 hours to retrieve all belongs or the family gets charged day by day. As far as a work place, "housekeepers" are asked to give out meds,change soiled depends,transfer residents to the toliet,asked to pick up narcotics from the pharmacy,transfer from wheelchair to beds,etc. Asked to do many things that requires medical training knowing we don't have it. The owner says she is religious but actions speak louder than words,very childish, only has 1 certified caregiver on staff and allows housekeepers/assistant to stay overnight with the residents. Please reconsider before placing loved ones at Rutledge ranch.

I first visited the Rutledge Ranch Retreat website and was blown away! I can already tell that this is a professional Christian business. All of the decorations, meals and activities make this such a homey place. Above all, the client care was more than admirable. Would highly recommend!

Very caring country setting home with Christian influenced administrator. The donkeys make for a good diversion to the residents. All night awake staff. Healthy daily meals served. Clean.

I only put 1 star because its required. Went to visit the facility and it was very depressing. I have been taking care of elderly people for 25 years and would never recommend this assisted living facility
