I enjoyed going to a specialized Group here so much that when It ended because of covid, I asked to be contacted when things resumed.

To make a long story short, I have reached out at least three times since before September and every time I was told that they will email me paperwork so I can get the process going to re-join the group therapy and that the receptionist will talk to Leslie (who made it clear to me I am always welcome to join) about a beginning date.

I never received the paperwork so I called and explained this to the receptionist and she said she would re-send it and if she didn’t hear from me she would have the daytime receptionist call to follow up.

That never happened.

My therapist has also tried and been unsuccessful.

This experience is a shame because the DBT group is a treatment I need tremendously and Leslie and I had a good therapeutic relationship.

I don’t recommend Red Oak after this experience and It hurts my heart to leave this review.

The staff at Red Oak are phenomenal they always welcome me with a smile. My first interaction with Alex is the reason I will never stop coming to Red Oak. She cares about her clients and is invested in making sure they are ready for the world every time you leave her office. If I could rate higher than five stars I would!

Red Oak Counseling is a great place. The front desk staff are very nice and easy to work with. The newly renovated place is very welcoming and accommodating to say the least. At Red Oak counseling I have had the pleasure of working with Heidi Conto. Not only has she been very flexible with my appointment times, more importantly she is compassionate, easy to talk with, and very knowledgeable in her profession. She is very easy-going and adapts to any conversation and does a tremendous job of relating those conversations - she is very well versed. She puts you at ease no matter the situation. She has not only helped me directly but she has given me skills and strategies so that I can help myself. My family and I are very lucky to have Heidi in our corner.

I have Red Oak to thank for my life being in the good place it is today. The individual and group counseling was incredible. The therapists were understanding, professional and supportive. They listened, provided insights and helped guide me to finding my own answers.
Sue and Leslie were so available when I had hard times. I felt they truly cared and believed in my ability to be the best I could be. With their help I was able to rediscover myself, my strength and my happiness.
I can never say enough about all that Red Oak did for me on my journey. I give them my highest recommendation for anyone looking for counseling services.

Used to go here until my provider left this company. My provider is great and I continue to see that provider. The Red Oak staff were wonderful. I went to the adult eating disorder groups for a while which was very helpful. The administrative staff were also very kind and helpful. They are very supportive.

I’ve been to many therapists throughout my life but this is by far the best experience I’ve had. I started with Shannon but we both agreed that Jenny would be a better fit based on my issues. She has been wonderful and I feel like she really cares about me. Without going into a lot of details, I have received help from other therapists there and I am really impressed. The new facility in Oak Creek is beautiful and convenient. I highly recommend Red Oak Counseling!

I have depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder, as well as an addiction history. I have gone through multiple therapists in my search for improving my mental health and living the best life I can. I went through a program at Rogers Outpatient and was encouraged to research and give Red Oak Counseling a try. My therapist at the time was someone I respected and trusted his opinion of. He recommended Adam Barboff and I couldn’t have been happier with his recommendation. On my first session I felt comfortable with him and felt a strong rapport instantaneously.
The most important thing is feeling comfortable with your therapist, otherwise no progress will be made. And I felt comfortable with Adam. If you’re looking for an excellent professional, or excellent staff, Red Oak Counseling is bar none the best I’ve experienced. In particular, I can speak for my experience with Adam, Jenny, and Kevin that they are all fantastic resources. To reiterate, do not stick around counseling that you don’t feel comfortable in. Red Oak Counseling and their staff are top notch.

I have been going to Red Oak Counseling for a year now, and I am so impressed! Adam and Darcy have helped me more than I could have ever hoped for. I am so grateful for their support, advice, feedback, etc. I honestly would not be where I am today if it wasn't for them -- I am happy and proud of my healthier mentality and actions today, which I never thought I would be able to say! Jen and Ashley in reception are also so sweet and friendly every time I come in or call the office. Red Oak has also worked with me through my financial struggles so that my therapy could continue while I got back on my feet. In my experience, Red Oak staff are very compassionate people, and I am so grateful for them and their positive impact on my life!
