In general, Ralph’s is more interested in catchy displays than selling fresh muffins! My muffin was stale from the bakery case. Store clerk didn’t care as she was busy building some stupid cluttering display. I gave up waiting for my $2 refund. Shop elsewhere.

The store is messy and employees are lazy
Anytime after 8pm plan on self check out. Most the time there are no checkers while 3 employees will be hanging out up front.

The lady in slef check out on 11/02/2024 around 11:30am had a very bad attitude and customer service. She was very inpatient when customer tried to tell her they already scanned the item, but the digital coupons didn't applied. She says, "all right, all right..." with very inpatient tone and disrespectful.

Ralphs has become completely ageist! If you don’t download their mobile app, half the advertised items won’t be the sales price despite paper advertisements and store displays. I’m disappointed the store won’t honor the prices despite being a Ralph's member and if you attempt to reach out either digitally or call the store, you get the complete runaround. I was placed on hold for five minutes after initially speaking to one representative, who was supposed to get a manager, but never got back on the line and I was placed back in the queue. I tried digitally, and as soon as I started voicing my concerns, “the system couldn’t understand me.”

Considering my father is nearly 80, my in laws are in their 70s and a lot of my neighbors are senior citizens, this is completely ageist & prohibits technologically challenged customers to get the same benefits. Ralphs should be ashamed with their digital coupon strategy. What are you supposed to do if you don’t own a smart phone? What do you do if you don’t wanna download an app? What happens if your phone died? What if you don’t own a cellphone or a tablet? I completely understand the gripes, complaints and criticisms after experiencing it firsthand. It honestly feels like a bait and switch to have it boldly listed as one price, but in small print state it’s a digital coupon. Shame on Ralph’s!

One may soon need a bank loan to shop here if the prices continue to skyrocket ... but that's true of everything everywhere.

That said, this is a good store with a fairly good selection (occasional sold-out items are a bit annoying).

But save those pennies if you enjoy eating food.
