I entered Project Sanctuary feeling alone, different, anxious, and hopeless. But I left less than an hour later feeling supported, understood, peaceful and inspired to keep fighting the fight. Mostly I felt that the woman I talked with there truly truly cared about me. As I'm writing this I am honoring that shift in my state of being that I carried out their door with me and will remember her presence and the gift of hope that she gave me.

When I first went to Project Sanctuary I felt like I was dragging myself because I had just gotten out of an abusive marriage and my life was worthless and felt like I had no value it was a horrible time for me but Carol was the person that would help me get up on my feet again and I have learn from her about how important it is to have boundaries and surround my self with good friends. Thanks to everyone at this place I can say today I have a happy life with my husband and son who I love with all my heart.
THANK YOU PROJECT SANCTUARY
