What I love most about this place is that people in need of food, household items, clothes, and hygiene items are able to receive them at no cost. The manager, Patrick, is very nice and, for the most part, so are the volunteers. I have, however, come in contact with a few volunteers who are not so nice. If you have items you would normally donate to Goodwill, may I suggest donating them here because people in need receive items at no cost.

Unfortunately you have to schlep up a flight of stairs with with your groceries because there's no elevator or someone there to help you. Everyone is so kind except for the man that serves the desert and refrigerated section he's just awful

It’s true that a portion of the food given will get discarded because the food pantry can not control the freshness of donations made to them. Project Concern does a great job of including a large variety and a healthy supply of food, monthly if needed; as well as toiletry items and beverages.

I appreciate their services of which I have benefited for 4 months this year. I found I was treated fairly and compassionately and recommend you give it a try if you find yourself unable to afford basic grocery items.

The best part about this Cudahy, WI food pantry is the inspiration to return to a state of self-sufficiency, which I am in the process of doing, despite the state of the general economy.

Thank you to Patrick for recognizing me by name each time and for your generous, welcoming attitude. I’m grateful and I hope this review assists you in an accurate understanding of my experience.

I went to this place for the first time last week. After receiving 2 boxes of food, I took it home to unload it. As I unloaded it to put away, I noticed that all of the little cartons of milk we're already expired. So was the meat they had put in there. The peppers we're all shriveled up and the oranges were some with black spots on them and uneatable. The only things I could keep and use was a can of waxed beans, baked beans, a can of soup, loaf of wheat bread and package of hamburger buns. Most of the food I got had to be thrown away. It made me wonder howamy other people had to thrown food away that needed it. This was the first time I had ever been to a food pantry in my life. It was a terrible experience as far as the food goes.
