My first time here Sue and Sue were very nice and even prayed with me. I’ve been homeless the last two years with my babies and I always needed a little extra help with diapers. My second time here was different ladies and they insinuated that I was going to sell the items they gave me. I literally struggled walking across town with a 2 year old and 4 year old hand in hand. I needed a stroller and was in need of diapers. The one younger lady tried to tell me my kids didn’t look like the sizes I gave in diapers. First and foremost my almost 4 year old is bigger than the average 4 year old. He literally grows every day and is the biggest toddler I ever met. I guess it’s ghetto that I am homeless with my kids but I really try my best to be a better mom. In other words, it’s not nice to assume and someone who is looking for help is going to sell the items you gave me. It’s been about a week or two since then and I just can’t get over the fact that people think of me that low right off the back. I have a full time job and literally just needed some help getting around with my kids. 😒

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ACTUAL PREGNANCY RESOURCES. Go to the planned parenthood just down the road from this place in Portage. You will get actual resources and won’t be pressured by the staff to make a decision about YOUR OWN pregnancy. Would give 0 stars if I could. I hope the staff gets a life and stops pressuring women into decisions because of their religion.

What a caring and wonderful team.. there to encourage, guide and council. I wish I had this resource many moons ago! Thank You for all you do! Thank You to all those who donate.. this is a place which touches (and I believe even saves) lives!!!
