Wonderful staff..Diesha and Jerry were very accommodating to my boyfriends needs and anxiety!! He is alcoholic and heavy smoker...which is why i gave 2 stars...The "Smoke" free facility although good for some..but really bad for those that smoke... Made him and others feel as if they had to QUIT 2 addictions at 1 time!! Totally unacceptable!! The patch doesn't work for those addicted to cigarettes with High anxiety!! They need that nicotine to cope with the other addiction. I would suggest making a change so that your people can sit in the outside common area and smoke, read, enjoy the sunshine, whatever it takes to chill out. Some of the staff agreed 👍 Also unhaze your bedroom windows..why block out any means of outside views.? This was his 2nd rehab to this same facility in 15 yrs..the 1st was awesome and he went 8 yrs without a drink. This past visit was 3 hours!! He felt like he was in jail. Put some artwork on the walls, anything to make the rooms more happy and upbeat! Just being honest.
Thank you staff for treating him like a human not an alcoholic!

Port health services in Washington NC is very un organized very unprofessional. Me being a mental patient myself have been scheduling appointments and have been off my psych meds. For the past 6 months. Everything I set an appointment they tell me my therapist is not in today. Or. We don't have you on our documents for today. I would not recommend this clinic to anybody.

Port Health of washington NC changed my sister's life! In addition to taking care of her and giving her a place to get off alcohol, they were instrumental in finding her treatment after detox. I'd like to thank the staff personally for all you do!!

Nice nurses. Nice environment. Very helpful program, indeed!!! I honestly wish I was able to stay longer! As someone with ptsd, social anxiety and a drinking problem, this detox facility really changed my life. Going there was a step out of my shell. Being there opened it up in more wonderful ways than i thought were possible.

I heard stories of rehab and detox programs that terrified me - 24/7 survailance even in the bathroom. No privacy whatsoever. It prevented me from seeking help... but this is not that kind of place - AT ALL. Private room, privacy in the restroom, the only survaillance was camera, outside and in hallways.

They brought us to NA and AA meetings, had fun with us in the mornings, and the small group it has the capacity for is very comfortable. I'd recomend this place to anyone seeking help for addiction/substance abuse. It was a very positive place.

Thank you, Mr. Leeroy.
