The Student Union is a good place to visit for both the common Boone resident and students of Appalachian State University. Students and staff at the Union are friendly and always willing to help. There is a convenience store that's available to everyone, a cafe that serves good food, a location forgetting coffee that also offers live music, and a bookstore. The phone could be a little better at the cafe, but it's still a good place for a quick bite. Four out five stars

Great place to get work done or just lay back and relax. The solarium inside is amazing! The area can be a bit noisy, but theres plenty of quieter places to he if you seek them out.

So many amazing resources for students here. There's coffee, food, and plenty of places to get work done or just hang out. Plus the solarium is the perfect spot to relax and knock some work out.

Events sometimes, area to play pool, and the smoothie place is fine but a few times they've just made the wrong drink. Overall I give it 4 clown college degrees out of 7 students getting hit by a bus and getting free tuition.

A beautiful, sustainable, must see, in the heart of App States campus. It has numerous rooms to accommodate any activity: working out at Mt Mitchell, reading in the solarium, meditating in Rich Mt, etc.

Lovely student union in the center of campus. Coffee shops, cafes, study areas and conference rooms for events all year round. Even has great study nooks no one knows about except for Old Man Willard himself.

Great place to go for food, coffee, or studying! There are always events going on, but you'll never struggle to find a nice, quiet place to study, or a welcoming place to eat with a friend.
