Parking prices are more than Manhattan. Over $100.00 for one day of parking. I will be avoiding the boardwalk area moving forward.

5 star for This is for the beach. 2 star to the having to pay to see Gods beautiful ocean at $5 an hr. 0 stars for the drive on beach part that allwheel drive vehicles cant drive on any more. And - 5 stars for charging $40 a day to sit on a gift from God. At 69 yrs young I have never seen anywhere get so greedy over Gods free earth. Been coming over 50 yrs and you keep getting worse. If you dont want returning guest just shut the beach down. May God forgive you. Thank you.

If i could give zero stars i would. I've been visiting Kure beach for almost 20 years on an average of twice a year. Last weekend a friend & i went for a long weekend & they had a little get together on Sunday right at the pier. I was enjoying the music & festivities & then the mayor made some comments that really bothered me. He said at least twice that they were all glad to see the summer end & for all of the tourists to be gone so "we can have our beach back". Then it was blah blah blah about how the "tourists are great, but we're so glad to have our beach back". Well, Mr. Mayor, you can have your beach. I can say that your comments have made up my mind that I will never visit "your beach" again.
