I recently had the opportunity to spend time at Peninsula Post Acute, and I can confidently say that my experience was very positive. The staff members were professional and genuinely caring, which made a significant difference in my journey. They offered a variety of therapeutic programs that catered to individual needs, and I appreciated the focus on both mental and physical health.

The facility itself was clean and comfortable, providing a welcoming environment that felt safe.

Overall, I left Peninsula Post Acute feeling more equipped to face my challenges and with a clearer sense of direction. I would recommend this rehab facility to anyone seeking support in their recovery journey.

When I had first arrived no one knew I was supposed to be here. Medication was not here for me so my husband had to go home and get my personal medication. After being here for a few days things were good. I bonded with lots of people building personal connection and discovering the people who work here are wonderful. My roommate and I had an instant connection and we formed a very strong bond and we will stay friends after discharging. I’m very happy with the physical therapy. It is wonderful here I don’t think I would have gotten this care anywhere else. Thrilled with the admissions department, nursing staff and doctors. All my concerns have been taken care of after they are brought up. At the end of the day I would seriously recommend this place to anybody who needs rehab. I’ve been to a few nursing facilities and peninsula post acute has been the best one.

I recently spent 3 1/2 weeks at PPA recovering from back surgery. A very positive experience.

Physical Therapy taught me how to drive a wheel chair, use a walker, and how to climb steps--lots of steps. Occupational Therapy taught useful living skills and suggested tools that greatly helped.

Care is first rate and the food is good. Overall I rate it an A+.

The staff is incredibly dedicated, compassionate, and professional. From the admissions process to daily care, they ensure residents feel comfortable, respected, and well cared for. The nurses and CNAs are attentive and responsive, always taking the time to address any concerns with patience and kindness.

The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming environment. The care team works hard to create a sense of community, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the well-being of each resident. Whether it’s rehabilitation services or short-term care, they go above and beyond to meet individual needs.

An auntie, 85 years old fell and needed time to recover, the family chose Peninsula Post-Acute. They made a good choice. Although the place is dated. They have a good system in place , providing residents with PT and truly skilled nursing.

I was here back circa 2021, 2022, after being in a diabetic coma that left me with side effects, unable to walk or have mobility to move around the bed on my own, etc.
The place was rundown; spiders were on the walls, and the room had no bathroom or air conditioning. They brought in a noisy portable fan that had a long stand, and the meals were horrible, not appropriate for a diabetic patient; they were full of high carbs and sweets, I had to protest until they finally gave me what I asked for. Most staff members were great; however, all the rehabilitation and occupational therapists were terrific. I learned a lot of things that enabled me to walk again.
Moving forward to January 25, 2025, my 91-year-old mother ended up here some weeks ago after her ER visit from a fall, that left her with a hairline elbow fracture. Due to her weakness and need for rehabilitation, also as an Alzheimer’s patient, she was sent there by her medical insurance. They were great with my mom, and to my surprise, they are in the process of updating their facilities with new stuff. The place was cleaner, and they had many NEW things that made it much better than when I was there. Unfortunately, the food is still not good; they must update their dietary standards much more. A dinner plate based on watery, overcooked zucchini rounds, mac and cheese, weird canned soup on the side, canned fruit, and a horrible pizza slice aren’t appropriate meals. Where are the proteins? Where are the fresh veggies? Other than that, they were much better than when I was there!
.
I'm giving them a (3-1/2 star) review in reality because of the terrible food their dietician puts out. I should have taken pictures of my mom's meals to show here.

This place was great to work with while my mom was there. The nursing, rehabilitation and social team were very kind and patient with her and us. I would definitely recommend it.

I’ve been working here since 2019. I can truly say it is a very friendly, clean, and amazing place to work at. The patients that come in for rehabilitation leave in good condition, almost back to how they were before they came. The staff here is like family always working together as a team to ensure the patients are well taken care of.
