We adopted our kitten here - they had so many! This place is so well run and they take great care of the animals. You even get post adoption vet assistance for 2 weeks, which we also used and they hooked us up with free prescription food for the kitty. The entire process was so smooth and pleasant. And we paid $120 for our new Son, which was very worth it since he also had all his shots and he was already chipped and house trained. We're very grateful! This is a beautiful, airy, tidy facility with a seemingly small team of sincere and attentive caregivers. Spaces for dogs and cats are generous; the animals have clean blankets if it is safe for them to, nourishment, and engagement with the staff or visitors. One is welcome to meet any number of animals and to visit for extended periods, and staff check in without being pushy. They keep detailed records on each animal, though there was some confusion about the vaccination series my adopted kittens underwent. The kittens were from different litters and estimated to be about the same age but experienced different vaccination schedules- perhaps due to different foster experiences? The facility sells the litter (pellets), dry food the animals have been used to (but do ask about wet food and/or supplements!), and even litter starter kits for new cat parents. Lastly, the SPCA regularly receives hundreds of animals- please visit if you're curious. I visited several times before being truly ready, and still didn't feel quite ready when I left with my kittens, but they've since brought me immeasurable joy! Once home, the SPCA continued to be a great resource. One has 14 days to call-in (or even bring an animal back in) if there are health or housing concerns. 🤍🐾

Came by to look at animals to adopt and noticed this couple bring in a cat to return after a month of having the cat and they put the cat in a box with no breathing hole. I brought the attention to the lady at the kitten adoption section and she brushed it off saying someone was coming to get the cat but I was still walking around for a few minutes and no one was coming for the cat. (The people returning the cat were literally not even watching the cat they’re returning just looking at kitties) I went down to the dog adoption center to bring it up to the ladies and they were way more concerned and actually went up to check on the cat. Thankfully they stepped in because why did they allow this to happen to the poor cat.

I got my first adopted guinea pig here a week or so ago. They have kind knowledgeable staff and their facility is clean and beautiful. I thought it was very considerate how they keep the exotics and small pets on a separate floor from cats and dogs because they are sensitive to loud noises. But the most important thing to me was that they keep their adoption availability on their website very current. I highly recommend giving this place a shot before giving in to the temptation to go to the pet store. I did, and I found the perfect friend.

Not a shelter, but a five star hotel for cats. Super clean, super organized, and super friendly staff.

Allie helped us, she was super amazing and patient with us. She stayed with us even after closing time just to help us finish the paperwork. She went through every little detail with us, and for that we’re super grateful.

The adoption fee is nothing honestly. The cats are neutered/spayed, vaccinated, with health checkups. If you’re a cat owner, you know how expensive these things are. Yet, it was only $120.

Anyways, Harry found a new home with us and we gave him a new name, Lychee 😅

Everyone is so helpful! The staff wants to make sure you have the right pet for you. We brought our dog, and he got a chance to meet our possible new member, and with some guidance, encouragement and a great plan it was a success and we have added one more family member. The classes there are great too!
